The South San Francisco Main Public Library is a beautiful and modern building with stunning views and a welcoming atmosphere. It offers plenty of space for reading, studying, and community gathering. The library is especially popular among families, with a wonderful children's area on the second floor that features interactive storytimes, a large makerspace with Legos, toys, robots, a foosball table, and even a 3D printer. There are separate areas for toddlers and older kids, along with a playground outside that keeps children engaged for hours. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and accommodating, making visits enjoyable for both kids and adults. The library hosts seasonal activities like summer crafts, which are enjoyed by families. However, parking can sometimes be limited, which might be a challenge for visitors. Some users noted that the arrangement of books in the children's section could be improved for easier access, and that screens in the kid’s area can be distracting for toddlers. Overall, the library is highly recommended for its excellent service, variety of resources, and inviting environment, making it a favorite spot for the community to relax, learn, and have fun.
Great library, beautiful facilities, great for families (clean bathrooms, good changing tables, nursing rooms, fun indoor play areas in the kids section plus a fantastic playground outside). Love toddler story times here!

My children enjoy spending time with all the activities available. Drawing, Nintendo Switch game day, piano lessons, reading and the outside parked area.
