Very disappointing. I'm just starting a business where I import a product from overseas, so I needed help getting through customs and then transporting the product to my location. I chose UPS because of name recognition and I figured this is what they do , so they must be reasonably competent. My first meeting with a representative in Southern California was okay, but soon thereafter emails went unanswered. I was handed off to different people a couple of times, and asked to resend the same documents that I had sent weeks before. And then, because I was supposedly chosen for a customs inspection, I ended up paying more than twice the estimated costs. This is the type of poor customer service I might have expected to receive had I chosen some no-name company, but because it was UPS, I expected much better customer service. Obviously I was wrong. I'll never use them again.

We have a front door, the one with the big welcome mat and the doorbell; this, our UPS guy continues to ignore for the basement door. Despite at least 5 calls in the past year, our local UPS guy continues to dump (either a package or that stupid blank post-it note) and run at the basement rather than doing his job and going up a few steps to our home's actual entrance. Here's a tip, Mr. UPS Man, somebody may come to the door and sign for that package that you are paid to deliver if you choose the obvious entrance, the welcoming one with the entrance and doorbell. Rapping on a basement door does not constitute a reasonable attempt at delivery, even it is easier to reach. I've never had this problem with USPS or FedEX.
