I walked in one day to open up accounts. The staff was busy so I made an appointment for another day. Comes the day of my appointment, i checked in and I'm waiting for about 20 minutes and the person I have an appointment with is still helping their clients. I could hear their conversation since there are no offices (another red flag). I even heard the clients social security number . I just got up and left. Appointments are for a reason so you're not left waiting. No one bothered to call me to follow up. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Thank you Michelle and Alonzo for a seamless experience in opening a business checking and savings account. I've never been to a bank that felt so much like a family-run neighborhood small business, even with a big name like Citibank. I definitely felt like my patronage mattered to them and never felt like just a number. Conveniently located in the Mission Valley Ralphs/CVS parking lot, so get all your errands done in one location by banking with Citibank!

I will say that if you need a debit card in a jiffy go with Citibank. SDCCU used to print cards at the branch but not anymore, and who has 10-15 days to wait? Most banks don't print cards in store and the wait time is 3-5 days whereas with Citi they can overnight it for 6 bucks? Pennies compared to the $50 SDCCU wanted to charge me. Jennifer was so helpful. Got my account up n running and expedited my card which arrived next day on my doorstep, before 1pm! Thank you, Citi & thank you, Jennifer! p.s. this location shares a parking lot with Ralph's, UPS, a dry cleaner, Starbucks & more :)

I earned a Citibank bonus, didn't receive, but they need five days to figure out why they haven't given me their bonus, never ever again.

Extremely pleasant experience indeed. Opened a free checking account and because I'm over 62 years old, no fees and no minimum balance required. Totally free checking if 62 or over. They have Zelle and the lobby was nice (see photos). Staff was Friendly (J.C) handled everything for me with haste... They gave me a Debit Card to use until the real one arrives within 10 days. Great easy parking, plenty of spaces available in front of the bank Handicapped too, Two huge ATMS sit directly;y in front of the bank. J.C. Most kindly connected my (existing) Citi Costco Card to my new Citi (Free) checking account.

I have a subpar experience. I was trying to withdraw my money, but they were taking so long to process my account. I came for a simple withdrawal, and it ended up taking me 30 minutes to get what I needed. In the future they need to have a quicker way for people to withdraw their money. I'm trying to increase my limit so I don't have to go in the bank anytime I need money. City is usually good, but lately they've been taking a lot longer with deposits and withdrawals. Three stars

Terrible customer service over and over again. Stay away! Just closed my account for several reasons. Opened an account in very early September. They had an incentive for 300 bucks that I never received after following everything to the letter. When I first opened the account the gal took one hour to get me signed up as she was having computer issues. Ok no problem but still never received my credit and while in line today one of the tellers took a customer before me and not ahead of me . The gal in line behind me asked the teller as the teller was passing the line on how to do a wire transfer. The teller said I can help you over here. Um, excuse me I was looking to do a wire as well . Then when I finally got a teller the teller at the window explained to me that they were having issues posting the 300 credit for awhile now. Um nearly 4 months? Where is a letter to your customers about the computer issues still that date back to the fall ? Sounds shady or bait and switch to try to keep you. No thanks! Kudos tho to the window teller for her patience with me

Someone found my Costco Citi Bank Card and reported it lost. I called Citi Bank and it took me 21 minutes to get a real agent on the phone after all the prompts and then he wanted to put me on hold. If I didn't get my Costco Dollars there is no way I would continue with this unprofessional business with a inferior customer service phone system.

It's been 6 weeks since Citibank in Chicago mucked up a wire transfer for a VERY large sum of money. It was cancelled within 30 minutes. They have told me they money is with the receiving bank, Its not. This was verified several times. I have been told I have to buy the transfer back. (It never left Citibank). I have been told its with Foreign Asset Control. I have been told it was posted to the general ledger. as well as 2 dozen unbelievable excuses, and still they can't find my money. I have spoken with countless people who said they would call me back, and they never do. I have been told it's been escalated 3 times now. that it's being worked on and it never seems to get resolved. I have been on hold longer than I care to think about just today, it's been over 2 hours. This is an accumulation of 5 different phone calls to Citibank requesting to speak with a supervisor to request a Forensic analysis of my account from 5/24/21 to current day. I have begged, pleaded and done everything imaginable to get this resolved and it falls on deaf ears every time. SMH!!!!! I was just told they will "note" my account and get back to me. Once again another stall tactic. This is not about the branch office, but rather the wire department. I am SO DONE with Citibank. It feels as if they don't want to help. It shouldn't be this difficult to my money back that never left Citibank. BUT IT IS!!!!

Avoid the employee Brad he will make you feel uncomfortable and guilty for you as a customer telling him information then he will use your information against you. Great bank beside the fact that the employee Brad works here. If you see the teller Brad avoid him horrible attitude makes you feel like garbage about banking with citi bank and will try to ruin your day. Note this review was made after several bad experiences. I would never leave a review a bad review unless I experience the same type of treatment multiple times this review is accurate an very well deserved.

I am glad to see there are decent reviews with this branch, but not from me. Brad the teller is wonderful but the people behind the desks did an absolutely awful job at the simple task of opening a business account. I had also become fatigued by their unintuitive website in doing online banking and complex phone trees you need to work through to reach a human being who can resolve issues that happen. I am now a very happy customer at Chase and so glad to be gone from Citi. (After 13 or 14 years).

I've proudly been with Citibank since first opening an account with them in Oakland when Mr Levy was the C.E.O. Wherever you travel within this U.S., there is NO drop-off in service or convenience with Citibank and this branch just may top that list. Justin is as solid a bank employee as you'll ever encounter, anywhere.
