Terrible experience. The “store manager” Denise has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. After making me wait over two hours, she canceled my order without so much as a call or notification, simply because she “didn’t know what to do.” She had previously assured me the online order would be fulfilled, then canceled it anyway. A simple heads-up would have allowed me to go with a different store. Completely unacceptable.

So I called and spoke with Chad in the meat department and he was very willing to help me. Before making a trip to the store, as I had already went all the way to Sam's club, I called to see if there was any briskets available. He said happily said yes. Get to the store and there was only 1 out so the employee that was in the aisle working in the department just happened to be Chad. He was able to bring out 4 to look at and choose the one we liked. He was a happy and very friendly guy. I will definitely return to this location!

As a regular customer at the Smart & final I felt the need to use the restroom so I've spent money there before in total at least $700 then as I am using the restroom an employee walks in and asks me if I have any food if I bring any items in the restroom and I said no and then he asks me if I stole from the store before and I said no but then he said by the tone of your voice he said he could tell I did so so then I walked to the cashier after washing my hands and whatnot and I asked for the manager the manager you know great man straightened out the whole situation and the employee was a heavy set man if you ever have to deal with any employees the manager knew who I was he seen me before and he straightened out the ego inflated employee

The last couple of visits haven’t been a good experience.I have been shopping here since it was built usually twice a week but I find that items are out of stock( especially sale items)It is like enough products aren’t purchased for the shoppers.I find myself shopping at the avocado avenue store where items are always in stock.
.I now shop at the avocado store because I can be assured that the items are in stock.

Seyed is the best! For as long as I have been coming to this store and he has been here, he has always been such a great greeter. His customer service skills are excellent. He’s always friendly, always polite always very helpful and this is extremely appreciated! I know that his job is hard dealing with customers, but he always keeps a smile on his face and maintains his professionalism at all times. I hope you realize what a great valuable employee that you have.!!!!! Thanks Seyed for always being excellent!!! ?

This place has slow checkers. They have 6 registers, and you would think that they would be staffed during peak times. On the contrary, I've never seen more than 3 open at a time. And they don't have any express checkouts, so you can forget about getting in and out quickly.
