I'd like to thank the staff at Smart & Final (Lorien who helped me find the shrimp cocktail and Christina "the cashier" who was nice & pleasant). I am starting to shop @ Smart & Final "more and more". The Stanton stores' staff are amazing":) !!!

The one is for the worst Customer Service I've ever experienced. Guy in front of me has one bottle of water. I have three waters and one other item. Just as the gentleman in front of me was going through the register froze. So they call over someone else who seem to be in charge, although not management, I'm sure, and instead of taking the two of us, he grabs the guy behind us, and a bunch of other people, and we stood there and stood there and stood there until he almost finished his customers, and I finally went over and spoke to him. I told him he should've taken us first and he said he already had customers! First of all, he was rude and incompetent. He felt quite confident in his rudeness. It was basically, "whatever you say Lady" without saying it in that way. But the intention was there. No apologies whatsoever. Good customer service would be, consider what the customer is saying, make a quick evaluation and find a way to apologize even if you don't want to address that you're wrong. Such as, "I'm awfully sorry that happened, let me take care of you now. Which would be no big deal because I already put my stuff behind someone who had a pile of groceries. But still it would've made it sound much better than the way he handled it. Absolutely zero common sense in handling a misstep. My guess is management may not care about their employees' behavior as much because it's difficult to get employees. I would have been happier in a longer line with somebody who was doing their best rather than have to deal with somebody as incompetent as this young person. And in my opinion, extremely rude by not addressing the truth. The store itself is great. Always well stocked and they do carry a few Middle Eastern products including Labne, a Kiefer yogurt.

My mother and I have been here before never experienced so much bad experience and racist. We have always brought our service animal. I always carry him. He never walks around the store. His super trained & dont harm anyone. Not one at smart & final told us or anyone else who has dogs with them that were not welcomed. Today was the day that only cashier (whiteMan)working told us we weren't welcome because of our dog. He came at us rude very uncomfortable was super racist. We had barely walked inside. We decided toleave instead. We felt some type of way. We couldn'tget a hold of the Gm. Didnt even catch his name. . We went to another smart & final instead. We never come back here again.

I went to a smart final 7050 Katella location to buy office supplies.While i was shipping i noticed that I lost my 100 bill that was supposed to be in my pocket. I did not know what to do and found one of the staff named Arty, I asked her a favor to announce if anyone found my bill. She made a smart decision at the moment and just let all the staff know i lost a 100 bill and whoever finds it, let her know. She asked me which aisle I was in. I disappointed myself and kept shopping. Arty came to me with 100bill!! I was so impressed, she was so happy that she found it. The reason I was so impressed was because I had a bad experience where I lost my gold ring(it was a gym). I called back to the location on my way to work and confirmed they found it. But once I visited they said no one had left any messages, and nothing was found. They did not even care. I only visited smart & final a few times, but I should sign up for a membership for the future. Thanks to Arty and she really made my day :)

I visited this store this past week and purchased a few items. A few hours later I had come to realize that I lost my card so I called the store and spoke with a manager who was of no assistance. I later went back to the store where the same manager basically told me the same thing which is that no one turned in a card.On today I called just to see if it had been found yet and I had the pleasure of speaking with a gentleman name Ivan who is also a manager he was very pleasant and took my matter very seriously. He watched the cameras and gave me a call back with more information than I had prior to the incident. He still was unable to locate the card but he made me feel as though he cared enough to help me out like my issue was his. This is the definition of true leadership and management because he indeed went over and beyond to make sure he provided customer satisfaction and although I haven’t retrieved my card I can now continue to shop at this store knowing that Ivan has the customers backs! Thank you very kindly Ivan and continue with your exceptional service!

The way to check out is always absurd. Today it took me actually 20 minutes in line to pay. I couldn't believe it. They had one person checking people out and the line was all the way across the store. Took 10 of those minutes to get someone to come and help. I don't think they have enough staff to handle the business.

Several employees working but only two registers open with 20 people in line. I waited about 10 minutes while they checked out the same person they started with and then left.

Horrible woman, she works as a simple cashier. Today I visited the store. First of all she never answered my greeting. Second she gave me negative attitude making weird faces. Manager please pay attention to whom you hired. Customer service is the most important thing in order to be successful in business. By the way her name is Amy. We never going back this store.

It's totally unprofessional. Manger Brittney is rude and doesn't know how to manage or be considerate to customers. I asked for a manger and was unable to to talk to her due to the fact she was sitting in her office. I was buying produce and such when I asked to speak to a manager by the sweet awesome Christina,The response from the manager was NO, it was on speaker and she said no I'm to busy. So me telling the clerk Cristina, I'll just go knock on the door. I was approached with a sassy irritated manager named Brittney. Didn't even get to finish my sentence before she said I smelt like alcohol and needed to leave and wounldt talk to me cause, "it wasn't a good time" Fact I don't drink and was in buying stuff which I have for 6+ years. ( good loyal customer up until his moment) " always frendly until this statement. Again without me even finishing what i said. I'm sad to be treated unfairly just because she came up with a reason not to talk to me. Alcohol?? All I wanted to ask is that she got my application online. I couldn't even get that question out before the judgment. Must be having a bad day, and I hope Stater Bros talks to her. I DONT DRINK.

I had a weird experience here when I went for a couple things. I've never been to this location so it was my first impression. The store has a good selection of food but the customer service is a little off. It's also fairly clean as well.

I've been shopping here for a long time, before it became as popular as it is now, it can get busy. Still a great shopping experience.
