I have been going to Ellen for about a year and have never had a bad hair cut or a color that wasn't absolutely lovely. She is charming, warm, and professional and every visit is a joy.

Mandi is fantastic! I had been getting haircuts at a less expensive salon on the other side of SCV. The cuts were $30 but after a week they wouldn't lay right. Can't wait to do color and highlights!!

I have it one star because it won't allow me to give less. I had a mani and pedi and here is a picture of the most expensive pedicure they offer. Do not go to this place if you care about the results you get.

I would not recommend Janelle. Did not have a good experience with her.UPDATED RESPONSE: Janelle, I don't think it was reasonable to charge me for the toner when even you were surprised by the actual outcome. If you were surprised when the toner didn't affect my original color, then you weren't expecting that result. And if you didn't expect that, then you couldn't have warned me when we were discussing expectations.I came in not wanting any color at all, but you encouraged me to get a toner. You told me to expect a darker color from the toner with possible blue tint that would gradually fade. You said the color would stick better after the Cezanne. We talked about how the Cezanne would lighten my hair to possibly orange, and you sounded confident that you could neutralize the orange and gold with blue. You didn't say that the toner may not change my color at all.If you had told me that the toner may not be that effective that day and that I might get a better result if I waited a couple weeks, then I definitely wouldn't have spent over $100 on a toner service. I would have just waited a few days then applied a semi-permanent at home for $6. But you didn't mention that possibility until after you applied the toner when your coworker told you that she waited two weeks after Cezanne to color her client.At that point, you said you could try toning again but you'd have to charge me additional, which didn't seem fair to me. I saw that you were disappointed, surprised, and taken aback by the result, and you sincerely apologized. So I appreciate that.But I don't agree with telling me to expect one thing, getting a completely unexpected outcome, then charging me for a service that I wasn't even interested in initially. It seems dishonest and misleading to me.

I have been getting my hair done here at Innovations for over 10 years and have always had the best service from Jennie, co-owner and the entire staff!! Jennie listens and gives suggestions but, honestly listens to her clients and is a true professional This salon , pre-Covid was my one stop shop. Hair, Brows and nails!! I see someone posted a 1 rating for Jennie and I'm shocked and thinking that person must've just had an all around bad day. In my time going to see Jennie, Jenelle (co-owner) Lynette and Audrey and the ladies who run the front desk, I've only seen such great customer service, accommodating their clients and great styles coming out of this salon!!

I've been going to Innovations for 5 years now and ALL the stylists are very friendly. Jennie is the best! She listens to my requests, makes me laugh, and I really enjoy getting my hair done. She also cuts my daughter's hair. She has special needs and Jennie is patient and kind. My daughter even lets Jennie blow her hair dry! She doesn't let anyone use a hair dryer on her because of sensory issues, but she let's Jennie!

I have been going to Jenni (owner) for years! She is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. She does an amazing job with color, style and is extremely reliable! I have referred many friends and family to her as well and not one complaint. She is a perfectionist and is very up to date with the latest techniques and styles. Go see her if you are looking for an amazing stylist!!!

I was terribly disappointed with Jenny from Innovations Salon. She is a co-owner with Janelle, who is amazing. Jenny asked me to come in an hour earlier. I did. When I arrived she had another customer who was just having color. I was told 15 mins. I sat for 15 minutes. and said I would be outside. I was outside for 30 mins. more. Not one time did she come outside to say, Bear with me, it will be a few minutes, would you like a bottled water, etc. etc. I was upset. Opened the door and told her that I found her to be rude. She waved her hand and said bye. She lost atleadt $185.00 and a possible long time customer. Terrible customer service!!! She's all about herself.

I recently had my hair colored and cut by Tabitha. She did an amazing job and I really appreciated her honest advice and suggestions for my hair. The salon is super cute and also sells clothes and jewelry. My earrings in the photo are from Innovations Salon and Spa!
