This place has anything you could want, great selection of wines, liquor, beer, drinks, snacks… you name they got it and he will also take suggestions on getting items you like. “Nice and wide open for backing up to the dock doors. I checked in at 1005 for a 1200 appointment and was done by 1210. Good job guys. The check-in procedure is a bit of a hassle, you have to wait for a forklift operator/receiver to see you in a glass door, but maybe 4.5 stars.”

“Today, I visited Handi Mart, a store I used to visit in the early 2010’s, to purchase snacks and beverages for a party. To my surprise, I also bought Thrifty Ice Cream, which I had not seen in several years. It was nostalgic to encounter Thrifty once more. The store offers a diverse range of flavors, and it even accommodates customer requests for new flavors.
Regarding the actual store, it was also a positive experience. The store was immaculately maintained, staffed by courteous and helpful employees, and had an extensive selection of drinks.
I will be back here, this is a store in Simi Valley that had returned after many years of being a 7-Eleven. Happy to see them again.”

Storefront clean and clean inside. Lighting was bright and cheerful. Not cluttered, visually appealing. James the manager welcomed me with a big Hello, great customer service. He is professional, knew exactly the location of a particular Rum I wanted. I didn’t have a BevMo account and he patiently, respectfully explained what I needed to do giving me the download info. ??????
Upon checking out, he introduced New Amsterdam pink Whitney Vodka. What does it taste like? You have to try it for yourself ?.

“I love this liquor store because of the owner Paul and his staff like Nancy and Rome. The others are good too, but they don't seem to make any food.One time, after leaving the store, my son dropped his bottled drink, and it broke. The owner Paul saw it happen. He immediately said for us to grab another one. I thought that was just awesome to remedy the situation and took a loss on product. Because of that I have been a everyday customer. I just saw Paul the other day and he shook my hand asking me how I've been. So this review is long over due. Thanks PDQ!”
“I like the liquor store. I do not know why the bad reviews. But I have been coming here a long time way back when the previous owners had the store years ago. They have a nice selection of wines, beers, liquor, and sodas , chips and candy and all. I was here over the holidays on Christmas, and I bought some chips and drinks and they were good. Nice owners and staff here. This will always be my go to spot when visiting my mom and dad.”
“I frequent this store often since I live close by. They usually have whatever I need and the staff is friendly! My only gripe is sometimes they only have a couple of checkout lines open and sometimes it can take a while, but it's not unbearable. I am surprised they don't have self checkout but honestly, good for them! I hate self checkouts.”
“BevMo is the adult version of wandering into Willy Wonka’s factory… if Willy Wonka specialized in bourbon, boxed wine, and “I’ll just grab a mixer” lies. The selection is great, the aisles are packed with temptation, and it’s dangerously easy to walk in for something simple and walk out holding a bottle you didn’t plan on meeting today.
Most of the staff are genuinely nice and helpful — the kind of people who point you to the right aisle and don’t make you feel like you’re taking a final exam in Cabernet. But then there’s one employee who brings the energy of a nightclub bouncer at 2:01 a.m. Like, my presence was clearly a personal inconvenience. I swear I could hear the sigh before I even asked a question.
So yeah: good store, solid inventory, mostly great people… plus one roaming storm cloud. I’ll be back (because BevMo), but I’m docking points for the customer service plot twist.
