This was my first experience working with the firm -- they went above and beyond for us. Sam Hicks, in particular, was a super star. I appreciate their willingness to patiently explain all of the new tax laws and their help to make the most of my returns. We will return next year.

Sam Hicks, is the biggest flake in the business, totally un professional. Does not return your call at all. He did not do as he was asked to do. Put us in a horrible position. And the firm he works with couldn't be any better.It's hard to believe this guy calls himself a professional, Not only did he not file are corporate taxes he completely blew us off today on filing or personal taxesHow dare he do that We're holding the firm 100% responsible for what's happened here Many more of these reviews to come the public needs to know that this firm is a joke, I guess they only go for the big fish the little fish get thrown back and screwed.So this firm is gonna cost me thousands now hopefully i can return the good deed.

Working with Sam Hicks is a joy. He is professional and extremely patient. I actually get all my information ready for tax season early, because I know it won’t be stressful. Meeting with him halfway through the year keeps my financial goals on track.

Since my original review was more than three months ago. I changed personnel and I am receiving 100% better service. I laid out my unhappiness to Rob and WE ( myself included) made a few changes. I feel much better about the quality of my service. I am much happier when I pay my invoices now!

I have been using this firm for over 30+ years and trust them with my tax returns and other financial matters. Ron Morgan is my guy. He is great with both individual returns and trusts returns. Larry Stern is my successor trustee and I trust him implicitly. I can't say anything to the contrary about this great firm!

Hands down the best Accounting firm in SCV. SKSM has helped me with several business entities and personal taxes for over 10 years and they've always been responsive, complete, and accurate which is what I think you want from a firm.
