I was visiting the local area for the sixth time in 16 months from the east coast and I finally took time to visit this incredible store that practically doubles as a sanctuary for many belief systems. So much to choose from in a range from crystals to large lawn ornaments. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! You can have items you find shipped to your home if you don't want to carry it home with you. What a great local gem for those in Marin county!”

“How can I summarize my feelings about Art Abloom in just a few sentences?? I am deeply grateful for Gabey and what she offers. My son is 5 and has been going in weekly since he was 4. Whatever idea the child has, she will help them execute. We all know how frustrated kids get when doing crafts with their own parents. Send them to Art Abloom! Gabey is truly a professional when it comes to children. She is encouraging and inspiring without patronizing. She magically pushes them towards independence, even if they hit that point of “I can’t do this”, she gets them moving forward. Building confidence! I also think what her students feel and appreciate is that she he has created a place for total creative freedom. At home it’s a lot of “no” you can’t use the glue gun, no you can’t use glitter, no no no. Some examples of projects he’s come home with: a garage for his hot wheels, a mosaic mirror, a portrait of his favorite Pokemon, a homemade leather wallet with little faux credit cards, a necklace for mom. He even used the ceramic wheel and made himself a little “maple syrup dipping bowl” which he’s proud to use at home! The options are endless in her studio! Kids love it. I always do the drop-in weekly so I’m not committed to any packages. My son has become bonded with Gabey and it’s really sweet. I love when he spends time there. Plus, I get a break! Win/win.”

“MVPS is a wonderful studio. I started classes there two years ago and haven't stopped. The studio is clean, the kilns constantly firing, there are lots of community tools to try, and both rotating and returning glazes. Every instructor is a little different and all are top notch. The best part is the community of returning students, members, and staff. I learn so much from them and have made great friends. There's always someone to answer questions. I only wish there were more open studio hours! (PS. The sister studio in San Rafael, Amphora Ceramic Studio, is pretty great too)”

With time my daughter follow suit and I too have my share of ceramic pieces to decorate the rooms: from perfectly thrown jugs and vases to a plate to hide the peas in and a pig house with a slide on the roof.At some point I discovered that I could join in and I did, following Barbara when she moved to San Rafael whenever I had time, inclination or room in my shelves for new pieces, and never regretting it.Watch out: it can be addictive in the best possible way.”

“Finding Keith’s studio can be a bit tricky—Google had conflicting info when I visited. It’s tucked between Kelisoscope and the coffee shop; take the side alley to the rear plaza, and you’ll find it on the back side of 48 Wharf. Keith himself is a gem. I stayed long enough to see him interact with several visitors, and he was consistently warm, curious, and generous with his time. He shared stories about his work and travels, making my 20–30 minutes there feel genuinely special. On top of all that, Keith is an incredibly talented artist. I picked up a few of his cards—reasonably priced and sure to bring joy to friends and family as they arrive in the mail. A memorable stop, well worth the effort to locate.”

It lays bare the claims by a number of archaeologists regarding “inventions” by Greece or Rome that, in fact, were borrowed from the Etruscans. This museum should not be overshadowed in your trip to San Francisco!”
