I had previously given 4 stars because of the non-functioning sauna. But now that the work on the sauna rooms has started in earnest, it's only fair to recognize the effort because this is the best fitness club in the area, bar none.

definitely one of the cleaner gyms in Stockton that’s for sure. I do feel like a lot of the machines in the middle section do not get much use and more benches or traditional machines could be put in. 2 flat benches just isn’t enough for the size of this gym.Like mentioned the cameras and tripods at this gym are overkill. Recording is one thing but it’s at the point where they have mics to talk to themselves the whole time. 4-8pm don’t even bother going.

They kept saying they had a guy working on the sauna, that it would be up and running next month, i asked every month , then the guy took time off, then back to next month , waited patiently for a year for the sauna to open , I see it hasn't opened yet , wow. The ownership is to comfortable giving misinformation repeatedly.

a little on the pricey side to sign up but it is the only gym that opens at 4a.m. that has plenty of room and equipment. Really clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only bummer is the sauna is out of order and they currently have no plans of fixing it (or else I would give it a 5 star rating).

I've been going to this gym for a year now and have really enjoyed my experience. Daisy and Mina from the morning shift are always super friendly and make it very welcoming. They need a raise for always having a smile at 5am and for making this gym a nice place to work out at. Overall, this gym is very clean and never really have any broken equipment. If they do have broken equipment, they fix it fairly quickly.

This place is a joke. Go somewhere else, you will get a lot more for your money.they want $40 per person with no option for family plans. I really don't understand why they think they can charge this kind of money when alot of the other gyms have nicer facilities with pools, saunas, and many additional features that actually work. Go checkout all the other gyms guys way better options.

Place Used to be 24 hour fitness and after valley fitness took over it’s turned into a tripod and cell phone gym. This comment is regarding the Stockton CA location only .Gym etiquette has been lost as well. If you enjoy watching people video taping themselves and sit on equipment for 30 mins plus and do nothing but text on their phones then this is the place for you. They have potential to be much better but it seems the front desk and management don’t care. ?♂️ .

Before I proceed with my review, I just want to say, the staff working at Valley Fitness in Stockton are great. This review is not towards the staff working at the gym. I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Valley Fitness, specifically regarding the unavailability of the promised sauna and hydrobeds.Upon joining Valley Fitness, I was excited about the prospect of utilizing the sauna and hydrobed, both of which were key selling points that influenced my decision to become a member. However, to my disappointment, I have consistently encountered issues with the availability of these amenities. What has further exacerbated my frustration is a recent conversation I had with one of the corporate members, Marissa from the corporate office located in Fresno (559-286-0591). When I spoke to her to inquire about the status of these amenities, her response was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful. Marissa's tone was dismissive, and she made a condescending remark suggesting that Valley Fitness may not be the right fit for me and that I should consider finding another gym. I was shocked by her lack of professionalism and customer service. As a paying member of Valley Fitness, I expect to receive the services and amenities that were promised when I signed up. It is not unreasonable for me to expect access to a sauna and hydrobed, as they were advertised as part of the membership package.Valley Fitness needs to step up and deliver on the promises they make to their customers. When you advertise specific amenities and charge a premium for them, it's only fair that those amenities are available and functional. The lack of transparency and accountability for the sauna and hydrobed issues is a significant letdown. As a result, I can't wholeheartedly recommend Valley Fitness to others at this time. I sincerely hope that they address these issues promptly and provide a better experience for their members in the future. Until then, be aware that you may not get what you're promised, and you might encounter unhelpful staff if you raise concerns.I believe that Valley Fitness has the potential to be an excellent fitness facility, but it is essential that these issues are promptly addressed to enhance the overall member experience and maintain a positive reputation. Are you a member of Valley Fitness who, like me, has been paying for amenities promised but not provided? If you're frustrated with the unfulfilled commitments and lack of accountability at your local Valley Fitness branch, it's time to take action. I urge unhappy members to do one of the following:Contact Corporate: Reach out to Valley Fitness corporate headquarters and make your complaints heard (559-286-0591) they need to know about the issues you're facing with unavailability of amenities. Contacting corporate may help in pressuring the local branch to improve and fulfill their promises.Leave a Yelp Review: Express your concerns on Yelp. Your honest review can not only help potential members make informed decisions but also hold Valley Fitness accountable for their actions (or lack thereof). Share your experiences, rate the gym accordingly, and don't hesitate to mention the unavailability of amenities. By taking these steps, you're not only advocating for your rights as a paying member but also helping to shine a light on the issues within Valley Fitness. Let's encourage positive change and ensure that the promises made to members are fulfilled as expected.

Been coming here off and on since the beginning of the year. Personally this is the only gym in my eyes that’s worth it because in-shape will straight up rob you with disgusting fees and late fees! However now that for the time being this is my main gym it has a lot of issues I feel that the staff don’t address. For one it’s the tik tokers and narcissistic teens. So many tripods and cameras all over the floor during peak hours is ridiculous and this is starting to be an EVERYDAY problem. Most people here are not even pro body builders or anything close and are constantly recording themselves and not working out. This is annoying because I’m on a time crunch when I come here and as a busy professional I don’t want to worry about bumping into someone’s camera gear or being on someone’s videos for privacy concerns when I’m there to WORKOUT. The gym is full of people who come as groups and clearly only there for the social aspect. Also the sauna still isn’t up and running. This isn’t me trying to talk bad about the gym completely, I mean compared to the in shapes here in Stockton (I’ve been to all of them) the gym equipment here is actually new and brand name. However management seriously needs to do something about the amount of cameras and recording being done at this gym. At what point is a gym a photo shoot studio for tik toks and mid-physiques lol. I mean seriously it’s getting ridiculous. This review is mostly a critique of what my experience is and like I said compared to inshape which is bigger and has less of the tik toker issues , in-shape has really gross predatory billing. However my review is to point out what you will expect by being a member at valley fitness in Stockton. For some reason valley fitness in Manteca doesn’t have those issues. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Nice clean gym. That's where the compliments end. This gym chooses to keep the temp 76 degrees will not make it cooler. They also keep the front doors open and there are flies flying around the gym while I'm trying to workout. This is completely absurd and destroys your workout experience. If you're looking for to work out in a hot yoga environment this is the place to go. I've never experienced something so dumb before.

Great gym. However I wish they would fix the floor that's been messed up for like 6 months. Cones and yellow tape do not solve the issue. They told me Sauna will open up in October. Never happened. I don't think it will ever open. I also notice they don't staff much people on weekends. On weekends the locker room is filthy. My biggest problem is ITS ALWAYS HOT. I pay like $40 a month and it seems like the AC is never on. Come on. Planet fitness which is only $10 has better cooling. Get it together. I'm always drenched in sweat the second I step foot in valley. Also please buy more incline benches. It's always a long wait. I love this gym but wish they would work on these things and listen to their members.

Gym was nice a few month ago , it is not as nice now. I will be changing to in shape or crunch instead sadly. It is way to occupied and they are all filming them selves as if they’re starring in a net flix series (not even filming for form check) My wife and I can’t tolerate it anymore.
