Best hardware store in Stockton. It's a staple in this community. Been shopping here for 30 years. You're greeted the second you walk in the door, and they are always happy to help you find what you are looking for. And if they don't have it, they will order it for you or help you find it elsewhere. Can't tell you how many times they have helped me out. Always the best!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Joey at the Ace Hardware in Marina Village (Stockton, off Benjamin Holt). What an amazing person and professional!
Yesterday, I had a frustrating situation after driving through spilled paint at Home Depot, which ended up all over my rims. Joey not only took the time to come outside and look at my car, but he also recommended the perfect product to help remove the paint. His kindness, patience, and knowledge turned a stressful moment into a much better one.

To my cultured folks, be very vigilant shopping here. Got nothing but weird looks as soon as I walked in and felt very stereotyped. On top of that, one of the customers was talking to another customer about paint and said, “white is right.”

This ACE hardware has the best employees. Angel was outstanding today and even found me a $5 discount. Day before yesterday John helped me find just what I was looking for quickly and with a smile. I always go to ACE first because of the wonderful help I get on every visit.

Been shopping here for many years. In the last year things really have taken a turn for the worse. Only three people are left at this location that I have known for quite some time. The owner Mark and his family have moved over seas trying to run things remotely. It’s not working at all the turn over rate in staff is crazy. No one has enjoyed working for Mark but damn now people can’t even force a smile on their face. New employees don’t really know the store and the person one on one help you get now over a few years ago and I mean 2 to 3 years is night and day. Staff kind of point you in the right direction and others don’t even care they just tell you the department the item would be in. No one left on their radios to call and ask for customer service in each department. It’s sad to say but if this store last another year I’ll be surprised. As for me I’ll be moving my business to tractor supply for the hard to get stuff or Lowe’s for your everyday repair things. If Mark still owns this store he better do something quick because I see employees not staying long and that can get costly.
