UPDATE 2023: This shop is still amazing, and going strong! The volunteers are so committed to making it an engaging Boutique-like experience. Displays are always lovely and the store and fitting rooms are clean and well-organized. They welcome donations of clothing, household decor and functional items, pet supplies, jewelry, yard supplies, etc. It's also a delightful place to shop and chat with very nice volunteers! Free parking is ample! Prior review from 2009: "The discovery shop is run by volunteers for the American Cancer Society and benefits that organization. The volunteers are always upbeat, helpful, and kind to all who enter. The selection is unique as it depends upon donations. Clothes (they have many racks of nice clothing, "juried" from donations) are freshly steamed with no wrinkles; they also sell household items, decorative items, jewelry, shoes, art, linens, pet items, gardening items, books, kitchen goods, etc. Almost every month they feature a different category. A superb group of volunteers and superb selections"

I do most of my clothes shopping here and I save a ton of money. I do not always find something each time I go in, but I check in a lot an find most of what I am looking for. Plus, it helps a good cause so I see this as a win win.

Very nice people, higher quality clothing, but also slightly higher prices than most thrift stores. Mostly women's clothing.

I tried to make a donation to ACS a couple of days ago. The woman asked if I had an appointment. I said I didnot. She informed me that without an appointment she could not accept the box of really nice glassware items I wanted to donate. This is all covid related. I guess if I have an appointment no covid is possible. LOL. I like this place which is why they get 5 stars. You just need an appointment.

The volunteers are friendly and give you space & time to browse around. The items are in good condition and reasonably price.

Had a good experience long ago, but we went by there yesterday (7/15/20) late morning to donate items to find it was completely shuttered and gates locked. The website says it’s open. The phone number does not work. This info needs updating.

This is a great thrift shop for used clothes and items. They only accept the best donations. The volunteer staff are always helpful! I highly recommend shopping and even donating to this store!!
