It's common place for only one or two checkstands to be open even during heavy rushes. Don't know if it's a lack of applicants, or their standards are too high for the class of people that apply, but it's due to a lack of employees that can operate a register and are trustworthy to operate said register.

Sometimes its good but other times I do get a rude cashier and it makes the experience worse. I dont remember the cashiers name but she double scanned an item denied it until she looked again and then got upset about it.

It's a bit dirty, the parking lot could use a clean up. Also, if there's bums hanging out and you're an employee of dollar general it's your responsibility to tell them they cannot be out there!
