Ordered online delivery. Doordash tried to deliver wrong order. Called store. Was told deliveryman took wrong order. Store would not send out another order; said it wasn't their fault. Why isn't the store responsible for ensuring correct order is taken?? New procedure is needed!!!!

As I am sitting here like I do 3-4 times a week, I am so upset at how I have been treated today!! First, we made our order and then, as I usually do, I showed my military ID and asked for a discount. The cashier looked at me and then in a huff went I get the shift Manager. When she approached, she went over the order to see what we got and then said, "we have a new policy" I can only discount 1 meal and that will be the double chicken bowl. So, my wife and I just said okay if that's your policy.... Knowing we come here 3-4 times a week at least and this must be very new. And yes, it does help when we decide where to go knowing they give a decent military discount. So we wait and our food comes up and the girl slides the tray at me with not comment or anything. We are used to friendly staff but she is new. I asked for pico and she just grabbed some and tossed it on the tray. I then asked for utensils and she said "it's there" and I looked again to find only a spoon. So, I asked for a fork and she said, "for what that" and pointed to my chicken bowl. I said yes please. So she turned grabbed a fork and handed it to me, again with no friendliness. So I said, THANK YOU! And walked away. OMG, we will NOT be back anytime soon. It's now just as cost effective to go elsewhere, and get treated badly there too. It was one of my go to places but they have staff that don't really care now! Bye

I've been coming to this El Pollo Loco location for many years. The food is always hot and fresh. All of the staff members are friendly and quick with service. I've never had a bad experience here. Thumbs up for this location.

1510 East Hammerlane location on 11/18/2023, I ordered for my daughter's 10th birthday an 8-piece chicken-only meal. The chicken was overcooked and not eatable. I hope management will read this and invite my daughter back for a better birthday

I came in for a special takeout. It was a meal for 2, 4 pieces of chicken 2 sides, salads, churros for $10. We got 3 pieces of chicken. And 1 fork and spoon. Really?

When visiting, I only went thru the drive-thru but the drive-thur server was very friendly they also repeated my order back to me to make sure everything I wanted was correct. Food was hit and tasty when I got him to eat it. As for the atmosphere, outside was clean and even though there were a few cars ahead of me it wasn't a long wait. Five ? ?????
