I have taken all my babies there. They are professional, kind and really set on making sure your pets are well taken care of.

The two stars are for the vet techs and not the Vet himself. Communication or lack there of was terrible. My dog has been shaking his ears and one had a scab on it (probably from itching). The Vet only inspected that one ear. Then gave me an outrageous quote to sedate and clean his ears. I will not be going back. Dr. Vicuña is missed!!! This Doctor barely spoke and seemed unconcerned. The techs were very sweet, informative, and patient with my new pup!!

My dog got stitches due to a bite and they sent him home without a cone, so he reopened the wound, they wanted to charge me more money so I had to put him down. I miss my buddy so much.

This place was amazing from the time we came in to bring our sick pup to the time we had to pick him up. The whole staff was very friendly and compassionate. Including Hardin the cat. Amazing customer service. This is the place I will be coming back for services for my pups.

I originally wrote a good review of Hardin animal hospital, I thought they had helped me when my service dog had a health issue. I could have never been more wrong. My service dog Leia had some trouble favoring her left hind leg. After giving her the medication the vet prescribed, she became paralyzed! We took her back to Hardin, and they gave her new medicine, but she didn't get better. I can't walk, I am disabled and my service dog helped me when I had an flare up of my illness, my arms don't work, and when Leia became unable to do her job, I was not physically able to care for her. I was forced to give her to someone who could care for her properly, a no kill animal shelter. I don't know if she ever got better or if she had to be put to sleep. All I know is I don't have her anymore and I really don't know what caused her to get worse, and I don't know if she ever got better. Perhaps it was a bad reaction to the meds, paralysis is a rare but known side effect of the specific medication, so I don't know how to think. At first I was grateful for Hardin Animal Hospital, but I don't think they gave me enough information to make a proper decision, and I don't know if they could have helped her get better. She was at least 11 years old, I never knew her correct age as I was not given enough information when the people who gave her to me, gave her to me, and I don't know if Hardin Animal Hospital gave me enough information to understand. All I know is I wish I would have demanded that Hardin Animal Hospital would have explained what was going on with her a lot more. I feel that both myself and Hardin Animal Hospital failed my best friend. Now I am at a loss and don't know what to do.

My do was sick and I called close to lunchtime and they scheduled an appointment at 215. We were there about 45 minutes. Staff was friendly and we were able to get the care and medicine needed for my puppy.

This was my first time going here and I was initially very wary because of the location and some of the reviews but they were the only vet that could get my dog seen the same day. I am SO happy I found this place! My dog Coco Banana wasn't eating and continuously vomiting for multiple days so I brought her in. Right when I walked in the staff were super friendly and helpful. I stayed there for almost an entire day because my dog had to get multiple X-rays and they made me feel welcomed and accommodated my all-day stay. My dog did end up needing surgery and I was a mess, my dog is my baby but I trusted the doctor and he did a fantastic job. I am also very appreciative of the doctor breaking down my dog's condition and explaining it in a way I can understand. My dog is currently in recovery and I couldn't be happier with my experience at Hardin. I will be leaving my current vet and moving all four of my dogs here and will continue to go here for any of their needs in the future. I am immensely grateful for all the care the staff gave in caring for my dog and the doctor for helping my baby. Thank you guys so much!!

I took my dog spike in for an exam and vaccines and I want to say, the office is so clean. The manager and front desk is so friendly and really nice. Also, Back staffs and the doctors are also great and treat my fur baby just like their own. I’m glad I found a great vet here in Stockton. I would recommend my friends and families to Hardin Vet.

My 12-year-old dog came into your veterinary clinic with partial paralysis. Your veterinarian stood in the corner and claimed that it could be two things: a strain or a herniated disk, without asking any questions or barely touching her. The man didn't even come around the table to examine her, choosing instead to pinch her leg as proof that it was a spinal injury. After days of needless suffering, my animal died tonight. Prior to dying, however, we called urgently asking about why she was vomiting blood. Your rude receptionist kept talking to my wife like an idiot, repeatedly cutting her off, and insisting that we just deal with it until your office opened after labor day, or that we go bother another veterinarian. Finally, she admitted that it was possible that the medication you provided was causing her bloody vomit. Until that point, my wife and I frantically tried to force pills down her throat, not knowing what we were doing. For future customers, please avoid this place if you value your animal. There's a lot of wiggle room in claiming that diagnosis aren't exact, but this vet was down-right negligent in how little time he spent diagnosing my dog. I have three witnesses that saw the vet's conduct, and we all agree that this man didn't make a real effort to properly diagnosis her. I may not have my dog, but I’ll make sure I put in a good complaint for her when I write to the Department of Consumer Affairs Veterinary Medical Board later tomorrow. Update: left a complaint with receipts and images.
