I see why the customers complain about customer service trying to make a delivery at an appointment time they set and get stuck waiting an unreasonable amount of time maybe need some new management

If possible I like to support the local Ace Hardware stores. The one on Country Club is excellent with great service and a wide range of products for such a small store. Now on to the Empire known as Home Depot. My best memory of Home Depot has nothing to do with the actual store but more like NASCAR circa 1999. The driver was Tony Stewart in the #20 Home Depot Joe Gibbs Racing Pontiac Grand Prix... Shake and Bake! A little Talladega Nights goes a long way these days! I went to the Save Mart 300 once at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway and it was a blast! Anyway, back to the present. Here is a summary of my experience looking for someone to open the locked tools so I can buy a Dremel. Employee#1: That's not my department... Look for the blond lady in the power tools section. Employee #2: Uh, Find the girl that has the key for those products and she can open it for you to get the Dremel. Employee#3: I can get it for you but I have to walk it with you to the register (because I look like a thief?) Employee #4: Sir, the line for self checkout starts back there! (I only went to this dude because Employee #3 handed me off to #4.) Employee #4 once more (and me finally at the register): Sir, this item (a 2 dollar sprinkler part) doesn't have a bar code. Can you use your phone to go back and take a picture of the item then come back up? Since I believe I am a man of infinite patience (and retired) I do my diligence, walk all the way to the back of the store, and grab the same item and make sure this one has a bar code. A short story long, only go here if absolutely necessary. Furthermore, and I may get push back for this, but Lowe's has far better service and prices are pretty much equal. Sorry Stockton Home Depot, you are trending customer service with the likes of Walmart and the DMV :(

As an electrical contractor I have to say the electrical department is great and super friendly here. The short white lady with blonde hair in the front is the only thing that kills my vibe. I understand preventing theft at self checkout but she goes a bit too far and makes it an uncomfortable experience. She scans your items and checks if she scanned everything then proceeds to double scan items she thinks she missed. Double charging you. Then she profiles people to check receipts and the scanning screen compulsively. Been here hundreds of times but now its getting annoying. Wastes my time and time is money in the construction industry. I seem to be targeted all the time for being Mexican with tattoos. I am thinking of just avoiding this store all together if the store doesn't do anything about it. If you aren't capable of scanning items then let customers who are do there thing. Nothing wrong with checking receipts at the door but don't just pick and profile people seems very wrong. I've seen many customers storm off very upset because of her and frankly there's no point in preventing theft when you lose customers. No other home depot does this and this could be a lawsuit if they pick the wrong one.

I wouldn't go here for just propane refill. It took them 17 min to come outside and actually give me a tank. I had to go back in and ask even after being told to wait outside .

I called before I went to the store to make sure the item was there because on line the store said they had 3 left, but when I called the girl that serviced me was gone only a second so I really don't think she even went to look. I can't understand why they put these items and say there on sale in store and they don't have the item. I was so disappointed...

I have to give the guys in the flooring department credit. We made a large number of pallet purchases of some vinyl flooring and it took a while for them to get the forklift. Once they got there, including a kid with a flag to warn people that there's a moving forklift, some idiot customer literally walked up to the kid operating the lift crying about how he can't find stereo wire. The kid with the flag and the forklift operator politely redirected the idiot customer who then went on a tirade about how the store sucks and never has enough staff. So then he pouts and leaves. Then they finished with my pallet purchase being very careful despite the idiot customer continually coming back, interfering with the forklift operator and crying about stupid stereo wire. Memo to idiot customers. I know this is Stockton and most of you have brains that are fried, but a moving forklift with a flag person and the lift with almost 1000 lbs of flooring? Might not be the best thing to run up to it asking a stupid question that another employee who's not working a dangerous vehicle can answer. The forklift guy and flag person were utmost professionals in the face of sheer stupidity.

If I could give zero I would. I have shopped frequently in Home Depot in Las Vegas, Seattle, San Luis Obispo and others. Stockton, Feather River is by far the worst managed store in the chain. I tried to order 40 refrigerators. Personnel simply do not care if you are a customer. Put the order in at Lowe's and received exceptional service AND a lower price. Don't waste your time or money on this store.

Be aware of the Home Services, I paid over $10k for kitchen remodel and the sub contractors damaged my wall installing counter top Home Depot excludes responsibility for any damages. The back splash contractor left the electrical outlet covers off because the screws were to short to put back on. When you pay this kind of money you do not want to look for someone to fix their mess. I will not ever hire Home Depot for any project again and I will not recommend them and I will bad mouth. Plus i waited 3 months to get this project completed.

Terrible service. We ordered doors in February, delivery date April 21st... still no door and no information. No one knows anything. We should’ve went to Lowe’s or ANY other place than Home Depot.

Had the worse experience today trying to find a sprinkler head & riser. Employees passed me off to wrong aisle or told me "go to the next aisle". I found a 3rd person, Marlen, this wasn't her department, but she went out of her way to help me find what I needed. I give Marlen 5 STARS, Garden Dept is usually helpful, but some of your employees in between need some training on better serving their customers.

Dear Home Depot....if someone wants to give you money find a way to take it please. Came in looking for a simple battery operated screwdriver....it was locked....asked for help...10!minutes 5 other employees walk by (none asked if I needed help btw) and same employee comes back says hardware person is on break for 20 minutes....I ask simply to get the screw driver, employee responds "yeah, they are only one with keys, sorry bout that" and walks away.....if I could give negative stars I would.

I went Homedepot yesterday afternoon by myself. I just want to have same special screw for office table. I was not sure where, so I asked workers. They found specialist. I waited 15 minuts. The guy came to me. So I showed my screw and I asked whuch section to look for just likt it. He said we haven't this kind one. You should go to funiture store. He never try to find or go to section to help me at all. He said he is the specialist gir screw section. Wow. I can't believe him. So I tried to look for screw. Just 5 minutes later, I found screw what I want to buy. I was so upset and disappointed this worker. They just looking work hard. But never help customers. Watch out them. I don't like this attitude for customers who needs help. He was so lazy.
