Apparently not all of the employees know how to price match. Went to a different store to purchase because it seems an employee at this store is not trained or informed properly.

I’m a veteran who has been supporting Lowes for many years. Today I went in because my Dewalt drill stopped functioning. I came into purchase a new one. After asking three times for someone to come and help me get a new drill out of the locked cabinet still, nobody came. Observed Many staff meandering around. One person made a radio call to the apparently individual responsible for tool sales and that person reluctantly said I’ll be there in a little bit. Waited for about five more minutes and nobody showed up. Very disappointed with the service.

Wasted floor space and high prices, no wonder the employees are far and few between departments. Yet, I must say, I like what they are doing with their tool coral ?

Just a crappy experience today at the Lowes on Trinity Parkway Store #2227. Placed a simply order for pickup, arrived, nobody was working at the pickup counter, only 1 associate at the returns so there was a minor wait. Once they were free to help with my pickup order I opened my Lowes app and showed the barcode for the order pickup. Before I was handed what I purchased I was told I could not pick up without showing ID. Last I checked I can go into a Lowes, shop and open my app at self check out and scan myLowes and my payment can be processed without an ID check. I pressed the employee as to WHY this was needed and told that they have experienced "fraud" recently. The app, the order email, do not state an ID is needed. The associate was not helpful and just looked at me like I was crazy. I asked for a manager, none were available but a supervisor was just getting off shift. I explained again that I have the app, logged in and have the barcode, why is an ID needed and she nicely said just give him what he paid for. I was ready to have them process a return and walk away as at this point I was not happy.
I contacted Lowes online and completed a detailed survey to let them know about my experience and contacted corporate customer service. Apparently they have a policy that requires ID that is in a policy they have on the backside that is listed nowhere else other than their website. I placed my order in the mobile app so i did not see any of these details.
Update: if you can update and correct your store policies i would happily come back. Feel free to let me know when that happens!

Lowes has changed in the last year or so. The staff are friendlier and more knowledgeable than in the past

My family went there to look for a carpet for our stairs. Lowe's has massive choices of carpets in stock and it's hard to make a decision.
Lowe's associate Joe was so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He helped us to purchase carpet and we are very satisfied.
Joe made a great difference and gave us an excellent shopping experience.
