I wanted to give 4 stars, but NONE of the rooms have refrigerators, or microwaves. This makes the cost of food go up exponentially. The staff here is so kind and friendly, the whole red star is because of them.This place needs security. On two separate occasions there were young men knocking on each door in turn down the row facing out, the men then proceeded to break into rooms one by one, they came out of each with loot until they couldn't carry anymore, then took off running...Stockton is a lot...harder...of a place than I thought. It's opened my eyes to many things.iys he,Rooms: Stingy with linnensNearby activities: Not safe outside after datkSafety: Walk with a friend, use the buddy system

Will never stay at a Motel 6 again. When travelling, I occasionally stay at Motel 6's because they are reasonable, fairly safe and they do not charge a pet fee. This hole was not cheap and I did not feel safe. Suspicious people in the parking lot, homeless camp near by and illegal activities in the area. When I woke up in morning I just wanted out there as I did not sleep all night fearing my safety. When I got to my vehicle I found the back window smashed out. I took a quick look to see if anything was missing, which it appeared nothing was. When I reported the damage to the motel staff, all they did was provide with the non emergency number for Stockton Police, I phoned them and they were going to call back so I could file a report. I told the staff member what was going on and asked for the second time for the glass to be cleaned up so I could get out of there. That is when she asked if they were coming out because of the shooting. Turns out my window, the car next to mine and motel window were shot by what appeared to be a high powered pellet gun. i looked closer and found a pellet on my front seat and my windshield was hit on the inside. After talking to the Stockton Police and giving them an update on the situation, they didn't think it was necessary to send anyone out as it was just another Friday night in the area. After about three hours the cleaning staff finally swept up the broken glass. Can.t really blame the staff members actions as it must be a horrendous place to work. To date. I have not heard from Management to see if I was OK or make an offer of covering costs of the damage. Or the inconvenience of driving without a back window for the balance of my trip

Have stayed there few times recently. Had 3 different rooms. I see other reviews have same things to say that I would, so will simply say that I agree. Broken things in room is "the norm" at this Motel 6. Only question is, "What will it be?" A light? TV or Remote? 1 time gave me a room/bed with NO blanket on it, only sheets ~ used blanket I had in my car & pillow. It's "BYO MOTEL" ~ BYO blanket, batteries for remote, a pillow & full-size bath towel...& alarm clock. (No wake-up call.) Other than that...Can't believe they charge almost $100 a night!"Pool closed indefinitely due to Covid"...(?) that's crazy! -- can get it from the room. Think I got Covid last time I stayed there, in Feb. Since I still mask-up, fully vaccinated, very little human contact, that's most likely where I got it. (Can't be certain, of course.){I now carry Lysol to spray surfaces, like TV remote, door, light switches, etc., wherever I stay. Smarter now.}

Having to talk through a window to get my room keys, even during the day. I had arrived at 8pm that day which is not late night and also, in the morning around 8:30am to drop the key off, they were still using the late night window only. Doors were still locked and had to use “late night window” which tells me this location is not safe enough to allow customers inside at any hour and places the customers at additional risk because now we are standing outside waiting to get taken care of. Very odd. I am a regular at Motel 6’s on road trips and usually can walk right in to get taken care of. Not sure what’s up with this location. Either it’s telling the customers that we are the criminals or it’s saying we aren’t worth keeping safe by allowing us to come inside at regular hours. This is probably the sketchiest of the Motel 6’s I’ve stayed at. The room was pretty outdated too. Dirty shower curtain that would not stay put to take a shower and shower was cold. Not great after a 16 hour drive where I was just looking forward to a warm shower. There was also a lack of pillows, (only 2 small flat pillows on a queen), only sheets on the mattress and no additional blanket or comforter on the bed. I would’ve went to ask for one, but at that point I felt unsafe to go stand knocking outside on a window to see if there were any of these comforts available. Not great after spending $123 for a night. At least give some basic comforts please.

The room I was given smelled like an ashtray. It was hard to sleep with that smell. There were cigarette burns everywhere: on the sheets, on the toilet, on the bathtub, etc. The screen of one of the lamps was broken too. Seriously? You charge +$100 for a room like this? Also, there were some sketchy people around the premises. I didn't feel safe staying here. My advise is: stay at this motel only if you are too tired to look for another option. I would not recommend staying here.

The staffs at the front desk are very rude and unfriendly - they absolutely have no idea how to do third party reservations or anything of simple instructions. Absolutely horrible.

The place is full of drug dealers and prostitution. Don't stay here. I was scared all night long. Also a screaming fight went on for two hours.

It was fine. The pool has and will be closed indefinite, they say it's because of covid. The ice machine can't keep up with the guests and the homeless filling the coolers.Rooms: They need to have more clean sheets, towels. No ashtrays. My fire alarm wasn't working. It wasn't even there.Wi-fi: Wi-fi comes in and out all the time. My tv must be going out because it had about 4-5 circular lights in picture.
