Wait time for an appointment was spot on time. The technician was real courteous and polite. She had good knowledge of the questions that i had asked. Made my day and appointment go smoothe.

Unfortunately, they don’t follow their own guidelines for specimen collection and storage. It’s not entirely their fault because this location called an off-site ‘supervisor’ that agreed with them - but the published Quest guidelines say differently. I’d hate for people to get invalid results because their specimen was not handled/refrigerated/frozen in accordance with approved procedures.
UPDATE: A woman from Customer Service emailed me and agreed, again, with the phlebotomist. She sent me link to something to show that but it also said the specimen should be frozen. So she sent me ‘proof’ that confirmed what I said - she hadn’t even read it I guess. I’m so over this - four staff that all don’t know what their own guidelines are from their own publications.
