Best place in Stockton to get deals!Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.Get there as early as 5 am to watch the pro-pickers work or join in with them!Feel free to ask questions. Everyone is always excited to share their newly found treasure. You never know what'll be out there! It's always different in the area that storage unit buyers put out their items.Or arrive a little later, and enjoy the wares from every vendor. Household goods, fruits and vegetables, everyday items.Stay long enough and you'll hear:DOLLAR! DOLLAR! DOLLAR!Follow the crowd to that sound as it's usually a storage unit buyer who just said everything he has left is $1 !!!!!It's cheaper for him to sell at a dollar than it is to pick everything up and take it to the dump on his we way to get his newest storage unit! What comes after DOLLAR?FREE! FREE! FREE!

It's not Garlic Festival as I had hoped would be with yummy garlic food choices, garlic braid and garlic olive oil and more goodies. Yet it's more like summer festival.

I love the san Joaquin county fairgrounds there's so much to do there they have a couple of race tracks they have a big lot more people go out and learn how to drive in I see it which is just a parking lot but I see a lot of people learn how to drive in there they also have the asparagus festival there the garlic festival the San Joaquin county Fair comes there alot of car shows come there they have a lot of shows in the buildings and I remember growing up as a kid going in there and watching the roller derby I thought that was pretty cool and they also had a RC race track in there at one in the buildings I remember. It is such a nice place to go when the fair is here go to the petting zoo nice took my family to the asparagus festival this year and the fairgrounds were really nice the fairgrounds were clean there was a lot of parking very safe a lot of security we also went to the garlic festival here and also very clean the fairgrounds with nice the staff was nice there was security and parking with fast and easy I really wish we can just bring some concerts here for outdoor and maybe have something here I don't know it just sounds fun.

Attended the Asparagus Festival on Sunday to see Sacred Heart! Had such a great time. The line to buy the fried Asparagus was way too long so I got a jumbo corn dog that had asparagus inside it (cause that was the shortest line lol) which was weird and so different but I ate it. It was OK. I was hungry and I had to get something with the famous veg in it ha ha ha! Lots of friendly people and the music was so good! The band that played before Sacred Heart was really awesome, too! I love live music, it makes my soul so happy!!!

What a sheet hole!! Worst time at the asparagus festival. I just went 04/15/23 long lines to park long lines to get in. And then when you get in, the grounds are dirty and ugly. Where are the special asparagus treats!?,...... You have to wait at another line to get in to a big building with the asparagus treats. Never again!! Horrible area as well. ?

My kids had a blast, only downside was we got the wristband for my daughter and son and my daughter is 38inches tall. They didnt have a sign of the rides and height limits. She could only get on like 3 rides. They did have other thing she could do but was separate pay from wrist band.

Regarding the recent San Joaquin county fair: The area inside of the metal building I thought would've been an excellent place to showcase the arts and crafts of local residents but instead it was dimly lit and filled with mattresses and pots and pans for sale. Real, real let down. It was basically a money grab-cave. Tents for army enlistment and police academy applicants. There were a lot of police on site and a handful were on horseback which was a nice touch. The food vendors were a bit of a disappointment. The one in the middle had the BEST corndogs I have ever had. Dog flavor A+, and the breading was like homemade cornbread. The funnel cake, delish. Prices reasonable. The other two vendors I visited had lousy customer service, made mistakes ringing me up and their lemonade was watered down and tasted like plastic.. for all the good food trucks in stockton, I thought some of them would of showed up at the county fair??? Most of the rides were quite good. A few missed the mark. The old fashioned Ferris wheel ride was positively lovely. They had a balloon man and a unicycle riding juggler stroll through. Ok. The petting zoo, phhbbtt. It wasn't that late in the day and they just were not interested in food. But the attendants had been selling, I kid you not--one cup of feed per $5 to each person before us. Those animals didn't want to look at food or smell it. In all fairness they should of stopped selling the food at that point. Bottom line, yes, you could easily spend a couple hours here just for the rides, but it's Russian roulette in regards to the food. They should've upped their game, honestly.. We'll see what it's like next year.

Better to go to asparagus fest on Friday. Not so much people. But the only bad setup was getting in a ride line for your asparagus. Waited 2hr 30mins. Plus they should also have a drink line inside?. Cause when you get there. You have to go find and leave to get drinks and come back inside to eat??♀️??♀️..
