Never had a problem here, the AC is nice. The only thing this place is missing is a beach within walking distance.

First off, I normally bring my wife here and wait in the car as this location is smaller and tight. On this visit I came by myself and arrived in the morning around 9. What was interesting was the complete lack of acknowledgement from any of the staff working. In fact the very first thing I heard was not a hello or a may I help you, or even if I had found everything I needed. Nope, I simply was asked if I needed a bag, followed shortly after during payment if I would like to donate to whatever the cause was on the screen. Also this location has chosen to stock shelves directly from incoming pallets in the aisles during open hours. While I understand labor hours being streamlined, it would make more sense only when stockers actually greet and assist customers as well, which was not the case at all today. Instead they simply stocked oblivious to my being there unless I needed to get by. All this makes what are already narrow aisles even more difficult to manage with a cart. I also witnessed what appeared to be a breach in FIFO protocols on occasional items. Prices appear mixed, overpriced on some items and an occasional clearance item with very aggressive prices to move the items along.
Smart and Final isn't always like this. The Hammer Lane location seems friendlier, cleaner and more spacious. The staff there always seem happier or friendlier. Perhaps today was an isolated incident, maybe someone died, who knows, it was pretty grim.

Prices can be better. But sales are good enough. The meat discounts are great. I got a $24 Tri-tip for $12.43. parking seems to be used by employees or random vehicles left in the parking lot because there are always the same one's there. Employees are a mixed bag, some are wonderful some look like they're having a bad day (everytime I am there). Also, the cashier scanning the cart is weird...

I have shopped at this store for a very long time. I work 2 jobs and sometimes don't have time to shop. So when I go there I get almost everything I need in one place. This entitled girl that is working there today gave me a hard time and when I went out to put stuff away to go through the line again. She was telling people I was holding up the line. Yes I had a lot of stuff but I always do. Don't mean I am holding up the line. I am trying to buy my stuff. If this girl don't like to ring people up that has a lot of stuff. She needs not to work at a grocery store.

Such a great store. I always buy my coffee here. A few other things as well. But tonight tops it all. I forgot my phone. I drove all the way home & unloaded my groceries before I noticed it was missing. I drove back to the store (9 miles) & I was greated by the cashier & another women, who immediately knew who I was. She went to the office & retrieved my phone. What a great start to the new year. Thank you all...

There's usually always one by that's close (kinda at times) quality products at good prices, sometimes very good prices.. they have their own products too.. never had a problem with them big roasted chickens also..
