Smart & Final Extra is definitely that go-to spot when I need random groceries or supplies—and they almost always have what I’m looking for. Whether it’s bulk snacks, drinks, cleaning products, or even fresh produce, they’ve got a surprisingly solid selection. Prices are fair, especially compared to bigger chain grocery stores, and I appreciate that you can find both name brands and more affordable alternatives. The store is usually clean and well-stocked, and checkout is quick if you time it right. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done—and that’s exactly what you want sometimes.

Tidy and clutter-free, despite pack-down being in progress, minor pricing issue handled fine. The cashier was friendly.

The 5 stars are for Aidan! He deserves his flowers. He is running the show! He is an AWESOME, hard working, kind and polite young gentleman. He was answering phones, gathering carts, kindly answering customers questions and when I called in to ask for 10lb bags of leg and thigh chicken quarters, he checked for me and even held the bags for me to pick up. He deserves all the praise. He is a rock star!

I usually come here for a quick grocery stop or when I need chicken legs or thighs. I don't like to post things online but I feel like someone needs to know. I came into the grocery store and notice the chicken was a 99cents/lb. I grabbed the max 4 packs of legs. I notice a n odd smell when I grabbed the packs and smelled my hand of they happen to be the chicken packs but I didn't smell anything obvious anymore.. I continued to shop and I again notice an off smell. I smelled my clothes hand and wonder what is that. I just so happen to ring do some merchandise behind a locked cabinet. While waiting I closed my eyes and smelled each pack and 1 of them smell terrible. I told the staff member hey I think this is bad! He said oh yea we had some returns.what ? ! I thought to my self. I asked well what should I do with this ? Thinking he would say I can take them nope he said to put them back! Wtf! Chicken or any raw meat should never be returned! That's ridiculous!

I usually like to come to Smart & Final because of their meat selection. The quality is great. I sometimes find meats that are discounted as well, which is a huge plus. The store is very clean and organized. The price point of products is decent. The checkout line can be a tad long occasionally, due to only one cashier. This grocery store is wonderful overall and I will continue to come back.

Good store to purchase items in bulk and at good prices. I just wish they had more cashiers. There is always a line to checkout.
