Since I started getting into guns, I've always bought my ammos here because they always have them on sale. On top of that, the customer service is just amazing. The two guys that are always there to help me are, Patrick (WEDNESDAY) and NATHAN. I'm sure, i will buy my next toy from either one of them. Also, the girls working here are all very nice and always willing to help and one of them have a cool pink hair. I hope these people are getting paid well for their over the top customer service. I almost forgot, the price on their guns is much lower than other gun stores, come see for yourself.

Horrible customer service, I received an email promotion offering a %10 discount. I needed to go to this location for other business, so I looked around and picked up a few things. I get to the register and told the checked I had an email discount code and also gave her my rewards number. My order totaled over $200. I looked up my discount code email and showed it to her. I was told that was only good for an online order. So, I said you mean I have to walk outside to place my order then come back in to pick it up? No that will not work. So, I left, as I was walking out, I looked at the email and there was nothing about only being good online. I walk back in and told her there is nothing in the email about only being good online. I was told she could not honor it.

This location is always clean, and the staff are helpful. This has never been a place that I shop much, but a Christmas gift card got me in. I will shop again in the future but not as my first choice.

Looking at their recent reviews I should’ve stayed away. Went in to pick up a couple lowers I ordered last month, the lady that helped me behind the counter took over 45 minutes to review paperwork and apply the online payment . After everything was done and on my way home ( I live an hour away) after about 14 minutes into my drive home, I get a call that they forgot to release one of the lowers to me and that I needed to go back to provide a signature and a fingerprint . I was obviously upset and I let her know that I should be compensated for my time to which she agreed and said she would speak to her manager . When I arrived she provides me with a $30 off coupon after I spend $150 . Which is ridiculously lol how is that okay? I spent time and gas driving back for a mistake that they would get in trouble for and all they offer is money off after I spend $150 lol . They obviously don’t care about the customer . Stay away

This shop is a joke or the lazy guys that work in the gun area are. I bought a gun and ammo online for the black Friday sale, and last night was the second time I've gone to try to pick them up. I drove twice (2 hours back and forth each time).It was the evening because traffic is bad, but those people appear to be lazy and don't want to work. They keep making excuses to get rid of me. Many family members warned me about their laziness and feeling of power, but I did not heed the warning.The first time, they told me I needed a copy of my marriage certificate, since my maiden name is different from my birth certificate. Ok, I know we are in California but, I had my gun safety certificate, birth certificate, ID and utility bill, which in the past Ive used to purchase a gun.Last night, initially the guy told me it was too late since it was after 8pm. Then he said my copy of the marriage certificate was not clear, then he called the boss jerk, who said the same. Plus the boss jerk said my middle name on the marriage certificate was different and they could not let me pick up my order.I informed him that I called and was told, that was all I needed to pick up my order. I did not have the name of the person I spoke to as I never expected more excuses. I should have since they appear to be woman haters also. I proceeded to explain that as a Hispanic I used my confirmation middle name, when I got married.He stated that the shop will never allow me to pick up my order. I was very frustrated and had my puppy with me who was shivering so I told him that I will never shop there again and told him to cancel my order. I quickly told him nevermind because I wanted to cool down and make the decision later.When I got home I had an email that he had canceled my order. Lazy, power hungry jerks! I wil now let all family, friends and anyone know!

I encountered a similar situation as the previous individual. While picking up my online order, an employee in the Gun section accused me of contributing to data for stronger gun laws by purchasing ammo in bulk. Despite obtaining a good deal, the encounter left me uneasy. It's unfortunate that this employee doesn't appreciate the business we bring to the company. hoping that either the law doesn't pass, saving us money, or if it does, at least we've secured some ammo in advance.

I give one star ONLY BECAUSE tending to customers is not a priority. For example, my mom stood in line not being acknowledged while employees were just chit chatting for a good moment. In asked is there any other person who can help? Employee looked up and said you can wait then rolled her eyes at me and my mom. What ever happen to employees must have respect to customers? And if not, if necessary, there's is some type of managerial discipline. So one star.

Went to inquire about a firearm and the guy with tattoos all over working behind the display case was very cold and unwelcoming. When asked a question his attitude was unprofessional and had me feeling uncomfortable, like he couldn’t be bothered. Not worth spending money here, when they make you feel like a burden.

“Regrettably, my recent visit(11/8/23) to Sportsman’s Warehouse left much to be desired. While the lady demonstrated commendable kindness and effort to assist, the overall experience was marred by the rude and unhelpful behavior of another staff member.The negative encounter with the male staff member included a lengthy wait, frequent phone interruptions, and a general lack of willingness to assist. What made matters worse was his indulgence in gossip about a colleague for a significant period before reluctantly turning his attention to my needs. This unprofessional behavior significantly detracted from the overall customer experience.In contrast, the Elk Grove location provided a significantly better experience. Their staff demonstrated a genuine interest in helping customers, making the comparison with my recent visit even more disappointing. I hope Sportsman’s Warehouse takes these concerns seriously to provide a more enjoyable and customer-friendly environment in the future.”

I had a small issue of their website not being updated. Store manager stoped in and substituted a item for the advertised one. The substitute was actually an upgrade. He has earned the store a repeat customer

I have been reading a lot comments stating that the people here are rude but my husband and I have been going there since the first day they opened granted I am not there every day but a lot and I have NEVER experienced what y'all complaining about and neither has my husband or anyone we know. I guess the old saying goes treat them how you want to be treated because I know a good handful of people that never had problems very interesting
