Horrible customer service. Why have a phone if it's not being answered. Unfortunately I dropped my wallet and didn't realize it until I was home 1.5 hours away. Tried calling for three days straight and no answer. HORRIBLE. Will never shop here again, this Safeway is the dirtiest store in California. It's parking lot is filled with trash. Drive an extra 8 minutes and visit their Pacific Ave Store.

Why aren't there any shopping carts. Been here 5 times and each time I had to hunt the parking lot for a cart. I don't think that i'll be coming back. And rarely are there carts out in the lot. You have to follow a shopper with a cart going to their car.

Don't bring your kids in here. It's not a family store. The employees are hardened from the crime in the area and it shows. Not a pleasant experience. Honestly, I could think of a few of their employees whose authoritarian and aloof attitudes leave something to be desired. Train your workers to treat your patrons with respect and. . . kindness. You're losing them.

Mind you my husband is a driver who worked the whole pandemic for Safeway! Went to the store today and was absolutely repulsed by Suzanna a checker and how rude she was. I have been coming to this store for years and the service by the checkers is always amazing but this lady wow it's one thing when a customer is trying to be friendly to you but when you respond in such a rude manor infront of other customers it's absolutely embarrassing.

I don't like this Safeway very much and since I was threatened by another customer right in front of the security guard- I hardly go back. This time I just used the gas station ans everything worked fine. The air pump was working for my tire that needed some love. Gas price was good compared to other stations near by. It was somewhat clean but you had a few panhandles and other people that might make some uncomfortable. Not a big deal for me.

The delivery service they use is incompetent! There was a missing bag on each of the last two deliveries I received. They were sent to me after I called Safeway but getting through to someone at that store is a joke! After long waits to speak to someone, there were repeated transfers and disconnects. In an attempt to get me to the delivery department someone kept transferring me to the deli where, after another long wait, I was disconnected more than once. Very frustrating!

If I could give No star would be No star. I ordered a cake wanted It gold with red burgundy. Ask the girl taking order if possible she said yes. I ordered 1/4 TRES LECHES CAKE WITH WHIPPED CREAM.when I went to pick up today the cake was not gold nor yellow and it was PINK instead of RED BURGUNDY. I told girl oh no I can't take that for my son can you fix it for me I wanted red burgundy and yellow She gave me a very unpleasant attitude No I can't fix it we have no whipped cream and another associate added some sprinkles and blue ballons because THEY SAY IT COULD NOT BE FIXED. to top it off ITS BUTTERY CREAM. Very disappointed Nothing like We wanted. My son hates buttercream... THANK YOU SAFEWAY FOR MAKING WRONG FOR HIM. Worse experience ever.... safeway bakery on Countryclub Stockton California if I put bad review is because last Time I order my cake it wasn't made. They gave me what they had in counter for sale I had to choose one of those last time ...I should Never go to this store AGAIN....

This is the worst Safeway in the area, including Lodi. Especially the Bakery department, they never have toys for the cakes they offer. Even worse the bank transaction machine at the register, has been broken for over a year. So if you do get lucky and find a cake(good luck they didn't have the 3 I tried to order)you like and order it, they make you walk to the front of the store to pay for it, then you have to walk back to the Bakery to finish your order. Not sure what management is doing, but the obviously need Kiki Owens from the Pacific store, and Lodi before that, she clearly knows how to run and fix stores. Maybe they Should just make Kiki district manager, so all Safeway stores are awesome in the area. Just sayin!

Wow. Talk about pathetic. Came by this Safeway to pick up a few items and decided to grab some flowers for my gf. She was having a rough day and thought I would surprise her. Sooo I've always had good luck at other Safeway's with their flower section. Staff have always been nice and they arrange the flowers really nice! Now. To THIS particular Safeway. Jesus Christ. The lady who "helped" me. I picked up at the most three different flowers. And I asked if it was possible if I can get them out together. She did a deep sigh (grunt) rolled her eyes and said "yeah. Sure I guess" what the f***** I then asked if she thought the flowers I chose would go food together. Her answer. No lie "I honestly don't like flowers. I can't stand them. So I'm letting you know right now. They probably aren't gonna look good" wow. She looked like she hates her job. Go find a different job then. Then she just had an attitude while she was putting them together. Don't get mad because your a** can't get hired anywhere else or your goals in life are capped at working the flower dept at a Safeway. This Safeway customer service sucks a***

This review is specifically for the BAKERY. I went to the country club location to buy a small 8 inch cake for my mom. As soon as I walked up this short older girl with tattoos a little on the heavier side, I think she had green eyes and was either white or Mexican. She didn't have a name tag cause I sure would mention her name. Anyways, she had a HORRIBLE attitude right from the beginning. I said I was there to pay for a cake I that I already put in earlier that week and she just stared at me with a blank look and said "well I need a name!" I was like okay well I was waiting for you to respond. She starts half a** looking through the box and was even looking at all the orders with the toys on them and I said "just FYI you don't have to look at the orders with toys on them it's for my moms 54th" she said in return "well I'm looking at them anyways" omg I was appalled. THEN she said it's not here. I was like "are you sure I was here in person when they took my order". Then she said "YOU SEEN ME LOOK THROUGH IT DIDNT YOU" omg I almost asked for a manager. So then today I come back and thank god she wasn't there. I pick up my moms cake and this other lady says "we don't have the right size box but this should be fine" it was way too big. I was like "won't it slide around?" She insured me it would not. I put the cake in the front seat, drove extra careful. When I got home the whole top layer of the cake slid off smh... so I had to drive all the way back and have them do it again. The girl doing it said "well maybe if I don't put the jelly all the way to the edges" like what?! Shouldn't you have known that. She was nice it was an honest mistake but the girl who I had to deal with in the beginning makes me not want to ever go to that Safeway again. The nerve of her... "didn't you see me look through both those boxes" like if you hate your job girl then just get a different one. I couldn't believe it.

Horrible experience when trying to get money back for bad fruit we purchased the day before from a platter. Tasted and smelled horrible!! They kept saying i purchased from deli which we didn't....Lyzabeth was not helpful at all. I even asked for a store credit since I was still going to shop there she of course said no...I even told her we'd take another one as long as it was fresh and tasted good, that was another no. I'd normally toss bad fruit but this platter was $15!! After going back and forth with 2 other managers they finally pulled up our number saw we just purchased it the day before and gave us our money back. My last few experiences haven't been good i only go there since it's the closest but i may have to start driving out further. Pretty disappointed

I don't know about in-store shopping, but the delivery service was a flop. Granted, we ordered on July 3 for a July 4 (1 to 2 pm) delivery. Never got the groceries, never heard a thing from them. We followed up around 2:30 pm with a service representative, who was nice but could do nothing for us except report that the store was understaffed to handle the amount of orders for delivery. July 4 came and went, and today (July 5), upon calling the store directly, we found out that the order was not fulfilled, not charged, and should be considered canceled. Goodbye, Safeway Country Club delivery service. We will look elsewhere.

I just came home from Safeway and they are violating Gov Newson's policy on masks are required in all stores. This is the store on Country Club. At least 40% of the shoppers were not wearing masks.
