This place has it all: snacks, rental gear for skiing or snowboarding, climbing gear, clothing based the season, and even snow chain installation during the winter. The staff are always super friendly and the place is well maintained and clean. The owners are really what makes this place special.

My wife and I have been here thrice, as of 21 December 2024.
By the third visit, they recognized us, and seemed to think of us as regulars.
What has had us coming back after the first visit was primarily a line of fudge that they make, unique to this one store. Very good fudge.
Our store carries all of your basic groceries including local freshly made sourdough, pork, honey, jams and coffee. We have FREE WIFI. Homemade fudge is our specialty with 12 flavors on our shelf. There is a great coffee/tea and hot chocolate bar with lots of flavors. We also sell fishing licenses, camping supplies and seasonal clothing. We are only 1 mile from the Pinecrest Lake turn off. Come check out this hidden gem on Hwy 108 nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains on your way to the Sonora Pass.
