The staff here are absolutely terrible. I waited for half an hour, only to be told that their system wasn’t working — even though I clearly explained the reason for my visit as soon as I arrived. There is absolutely no respect for customers. This is the worst At&T store I’ve ever been to. If I could, I would give it zero stars.

Earlier this week I was sent a replacement phone through the mail, and was unable to activate the eSIM through the website and headed to this store. The activation should have been a simple process, however I ended up working with Megan & it happened to be her first day. After more than an hour of being “helped” went by her manager Gilbert stepped in explaining that my new device wasn’t able to be activated because I didn’t have a 5g plan.
Weird, I thought, I have 5g on my phone all the time. I’m told to switch to a new plan but two additional lines need to be added to get a better price. Thought this was weird but hey, I figured I’m repealing with the experts let them advise me.
Gil steps away to assist other customers, as they are starting to get backed up on services and Megan fumbles around trying to get things done for another thirty minutes. No luck it seems…
Turns out she has actually assigned the new device to another phone number on my account but doesn’t tell me, and Gil gets back involved. He doesn’t know how to fix it, resulting in a call to the fraud department which then gets my account locked because apparently this is NOT a real ATT location and there’s nothing they can do to escalate or fix their error. This is merely a retailer, Gil gets argumentative with the rep at corporate on the phone and me, blaming the situation on the brand new employee he “didn’t even hire”.
I was then referred to a corporate location where I found out the plan he forced me into changing to WASNT necessary and also they messed up every single phone number on my account by reassigning my number to all existing devices except for the new one I had brought it. Managerial incompetence, lack of accountability and overall shitty attitude almost made me walk away from ATT and it’s the only carrier I’ve used since 2004.
The mistakes made at this location took SIX HOURS to resolve at a corporate store, wasting quite literally my entire day and the days of multiple of my family members.
Don’t come here, don’t buy your phone here, don’t expect them to fix anything for you (even if they made the error!) especially if Gil is the manager on site. You’re better off driving the extra five minutes to get to another AUTHORIZED CORPORATE STORE, this one is like dealing with a random employee trying to sell you a plan at Best Buy.
If you are the owner of this location, work on your training practices and reconsider who you are leaving your reputation in the hands of. In my almost two hours at the store I saw multiple people walk out frustrated, and even encountered a fellow disgruntled customer at the next store location I had to go to. Your business is literally WALKING out the door…

I highly recommend GIL at the STUDIO CITY AT&T store. He was able to delete my phone and add my son‘s line to it since he had lost his phone. He was very helpful and patient and walked to me through the whole process. I highly recommend that he gets a raise
