Scam auto body not trust worthy I would not recommend. They scammed me out of 2k in labor.
Manny and Juan are management be careful. They lied about speaking with upper management and never spoke with them. Holding on to my car due to a scam job.

I took my car in for an estimate to this body and one of the workers from this body shop called me to bring my car into the shop and they informed me that all charges are fully covered and will be paid by the insurance.
Once they finished working on the car they informed me after they finished that charges are not covered so now they are holding my car without any consent from me.
I asked them several times to release my car and they are holding it.

I recently had a terrible experience with Crash champions . I brought my car in for what should have been a simple repair, but they ended up charging me far more than the initial estimate without any clear explanation or justification. They claimed additional parts were needed and performed extra services without my consent. When I questioned the charges, the staff was evasive and unhelpful.
On top of that, the work they did was subpar. I noticed scratches and dents that weren’t there before, and the paint job they promised would match perfectly ended up being a completely different shade. I also found out later from another mechanic that some of the repairs they claimed were necessary were actually not needed at all.
Overall, I feel scammed and cheated by crash champions studio city. I would strongly advise anyone considering this shop to look elsewhere. They lack transparency, professionalism, and basic customer service. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

I had a great experience with Crash Champions. My car was pretty badly damaged in an accident and the work on it was flawless. Marty was great and kept me informed every step of the way. The repairs were finished ahead of schedule and you would never know that it had been hit. All in all it was a great experience under the circumstances. But I do hope I never have to back! I definitely recommend them.

The staff is great. The work is great. Great communication. Only concern was the slight delay in finishing the job. But, I’d rather wait than rushing. I recommend the shop.

I drive a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 truck that is my baby. Not a ding or scratch. I restore classic cars as a hobby, so I am very particular. Someone hit my truck in a parking lot, leaving a large gash in the side of the bed. My insurance company recommended I take it to Crash Champions in Studio City, CA. I went there for an estimate and dealt with James Frucht. He was friendly, very professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he understood that my truck is more than just a vehicle. It is my baby. My insurance company wanted to fund a low-cost repair by caking on layers of Bondo, but James convinced them to pay more for a proper repair of replacing the entire metal side of the bed. This was a much more difficult and costly process, but the result was a true restoration. Crash Champions provided text updates to keep me informed of the progress and anticipated completion date, which they met. When I picked up the vehicle the paint was perfect. The bodywork was exactly as the factory would do it. There were no new dents or scratches. No overspray. My truck was detailed. The few bucks and loose tools in my cab were still there. I’m a skeptical pessimist, and they earned more than my trust, also accolades. I highly recommend them.

Worst body shop to take your vehicle to, they take forever to finish up your vehicle and then they are pushing to take it out eventhough repairs have not been completed.
Very unprofessional personnel.

Had to come here to say I'm super impressed by this shop. My side door got hit on the highway and this was one of the recommended shops through geico insurance . They also have a partnership with enterprise so they had a rental car ready for me when i dropped off. Everything was super easy and they even cleaned and vacuumed the inside of my car which I appreciated greatly because I was so busy after flying to India, i didn't get a chance to clean it after my trip (and right when I got home is when the accident happened). The whole staff was sooo nice and they did a great job!! Will be coming here for future repairs. Thank you guys so mu

I took my car to autobahn, which became crash champions, to have some work done which was covered by my insurance in July 2023. Since they already had my car, I paid them with my own money to fix some paint scratches on my car. After they had had my car for over a month and I paid in full, I picked up my car and saw that they had completely forgotten to do the paint job that I paid for. They were also other issues with the repair that they had to correct.They told me to bring my car back to do the paint job and that they would reimburse me for my Ubers while they had my car. I asked if they would prefer for me to get a rental car and they said no. I brought them all the receipts, totaling to a few hundred dollars. It has now been several months, and despite my repeated follow-ups, they have still not reimbursed me for this expense.It’s really disappointing seeing as I did nothing wrong and I paid them money upfront. I did exactly what they told me to do. I can’t even get them to reply to an email anymore

I could not be more satisfied with Crash Champions. Although it took 2 days to get the estimate, communication through the process was great. I was constantly updated by text. I picked up the car which was washed & waxed better than any car wash, the repair was perfect & even my headlights look like new. Thank you Crash Champions

Could not recommend this place any LESS. DO NOT bring your car here. After my car sat in their lot for god knows how long, I finally called for an estimate. Conveniently the next day it was finally prepared. Lots and lots of delays (due to parts, which I do understand is not their fault). However, what was most irritating was the dates they'd send for estimated completion. They once told me that my car would be ready TOMORROW, then I heard radio silence for A WEEK before I called and asked what was going on. Then when it was finally ready, I drove it home, and the dash lit up like fireworks. They didn't fix what needed to be fixed. So I had to bring it back--but of course they got the date and time wrong, so I brought it back a THIRD TIME!!! The only good thing about this place is the receptionist ladies, they are sweet. DO NOT GO HERE unless you are ready to rip your hair out.

The place is highly over priced, and they think people are stupid and don't know about vehicle repairs, I went to check on an estimate and the guy said to me, "You're telling me I don't know how long it will take for this repair?". And that was exactly what I was telling him. I have worked at a body shop before. $5000 for a bumper and a lift gate repair. They're charging for removing the tail lights, when the tail lights have absolutely nothing to do with the damage. Since I'm paying for the damage, I requested the parts "they're replacing" right? Well guy was very rude and said he would not give them to me, because I was nobody, I'm paying for the repair. In their office there's some older guys, but out in the back the ones doing the repairs look like they just graduated high school. They charge for things that are not necessary or that they have already charged elsewhere in the invoice.If your insurance is paying, by all means take your vehicle here. But if you're paying out of pocket, believe you me, I could have gotten that repair done for $1000 and in 3 days, it took them 2 weeks. Don't get scammed by these people, they're not honest.
