“Great bike rental outfit! Staff is super knowledgeable of paths and bike routes. They set me up with a hybrid, which had a basket for my luggage. They had everything from cruisers to xtra cycles and larger cargo movers. Their prices are reasonable and they have everything you’ll need. You can ride right from the shop to the beach, and as far as 20miles south.”
“This is a classic service bicycle shop. Just stopped in here and asked if they sold bicycle bells. The best experience for such a small thing - I bought a simple cute bell and they removed my rusty old one, installed the new one, and even put air in my tires while I waited. So nice.”
“Small hole in the wall with mighty superpowers to meet your bike repair needs. Have been getting my bikes serviced here for the last few years and am always awed by their incredible work and low prices to boot”
“Went in to buy a pair of MTB shoes, even though I’m not riding a Specialized bike, Alan looked up my bike’s spec and helped me with the right stuff (which turned out the shoes I was looking for wasn’t the right one). He also helped me picking the right shorts and helmet. He is awesome, and made my experience wonderful.”
“I took my electrical bike because the back wheel had issues. They fixed it and now my bike runs like new! Recommend this shop for people who are looking for great customer service and a great outcome.”
“I've been using them for the last year. Great guys. They always take their time to explain your options. They've brought all my bikes back to life. I highly recommend them.”

“Jesus and his employees are great people, they would get your bike done quickly, the bikers that are there are kind and amazing popping wheelie and having fun, I would recommend Jesus bike shop if you are in the area”
“Helen's cycles is awesome! Can't recommend them highly enough. Super affordable.
Went to two other shops in town and was told I would have at least a week wait. I rolled up to Helen's and spoke to the service manager Wilber. I explained to him that we were only in town for the day and taking our mountain bikes out to death Valley And needed them turned around as quickly as possible, he initially said the following morning but then when we realized we would be leaving town before the shop opened he said no problem I will have them done before 5 PM. I got a text at 1 PM saying the bikes were done!
Went to pick them up and as soon as Wilber saw my van rolling into the parking lot he was doing a final inspection and wheeling them out. Both bikes were serviced way beyond my expectations. Not a single detail was overlooked and they both rode flawlessly. Thanks to Wilber and his team for doing such a great job with my bikes!”
“Very welcoming team! Took care of us the day of the Dodger parade. Added a new lock to my bike, helped install it, let me refill my water bottle. My bro had an old chain they helped him Cut and helped him save the lock. Filled up our tires with air and they have a nice selection of bikes. We were in and out in a jiffy. I used to come here when I lived in LA too and they always took care of me, will be back next time I am in LA on my bike.”
“My son is Very Happy ?, his idea in purchasing his own bicycle, exploring places and Being himself.

Thank you Mr Eliseo for everything!!!”
“Got a flat at the start of my ride and was going to give up but noticed Metro was walking distance and Ron completely saved my day! Great shop and very efficient.
I also left with the neccessary equipment to fix my next flat myself (I hope!).
Thanks again Ron!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A rare gem of a bike shop—Atomic Cycles and Paul are the real deal.
If you’re lucky enough to stumble across Atomic Cycles in North Hollywood, you’ve found something special—an old-school, no-frills, soul-of-cycling kind of place. This isn’t some sleek boutique with overpriced parts and cookie-cutter service. This is Paul’s shop—a one-man operation, part museum, part workshop, part time machine—and entirely awesome.
I recently pulled two bikes out of storage after 25+ years of collecting dust. One was a cruiser-style 21-speed, the other my old Klein Stage Comp road bike from my triathlon days. My son is just getting into cycling, so I wanted to see if they could be resurrected. Enter Paul.
From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with nostalgia—cluttered racks, retro parts, classic bikes stacked everywhere, and zero e-bikes (don’t even mention them—Paul will make his feelings known! ?). Then you meet Paul himself: a lean, strong, greying guy in his 50s with oil-stained hands, a frayed shirt, and the calm intensity of a mad scientist-mechanic who knows his craft inside and out.
He’s not there to upsell you or push gimmicks. Paul is a caretaker of bicycles. He brought both my bikes back to life for a price that was literally a fraction of what the big box bike shops wanted to charge. And his work? Impeccable. No BS. Just honest, high-skill labor from someone who clearly lives and loves the cycling life.
If you want e-bike talk and shiny sales floors, go elsewhere. If you want someone who treats your bike like it’s a piece of living history and will get it running better than ever—go see Paul.
This place is more than a bike shop—it’s a living piece of cycling culture. I’m grateful I found it.”
“The Team at Luft are awesome. I have become a much more comfortable cyclist in LA due to Luft's road and gravel rides. I actually probably wouldn't even be riding gravel in LA if it weren't for Luft. Cody, Max and West generously would switch over my tires back and forth from road to gravel. I trust Cody's word with purchases tremendously. They host nice community events and a good way to meet people that I now ride with regularly and likely would not have met in the first place if wasn't for Luft's community.”
“Nothing but amazing things to say. I got Jose to build me my dream bike. Needless to say he went above and beyond. Great guy, super nice, very helpful, knowledgable and knows what he is talking about. What else do you need other than that?!”
“Superb service department especially if you're in a pinch. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, fast even with a lot of customers already in the door. Just remarkable. They saved my day. Highly recommended!”
“Jacob was great not only explaining to me the differences between all the e-bike options available in-store but also letting me try them out before pulling the trigger and going for the Fenix (not what I initially thought I was going to get but the experience was so great I ended up getting the most expensive one, haha). All around 5/5.”

“I feel like I found my special place. These guys are SO nice. They are very reasonably priced and competent. They got me in and out in no time at all. I am really grateful to have found them.”
“During the pandemic I tried to get in for service, but they were only servicing existing customers. That made sense, given the bike craze. Today I needed my pedals swapped out due to a leg injury and Nir was helpful, very knowledgable and happy to do the work while I waited. I don't think there is a more knowledgable person in the bike business and I look forward to developing a relationship with him and his shop. You have to support small businesses!”
“Best bike shop that's underrated in LA!! Unbeatable prices professional speedy work and amazing customer service. They even do vustom work and work on electric bikes as well!!! But don't take my word for it stop by and check it out yourself”
“Fantastic shop and fantastic guy running the shop! I often hear about this shop and absolutely insane level of service from local West Coast friends. When I am in Santa Monica next time this is always my very first stop to tune up before heading to biking route.”
“I read the reviews prior to going here. I went here because the shop was a Lectric service partner. I did not receive service because they didn't have the tools/machinery to fix my bike, but I am thankful to the owner for recommending me to another shop that could fix my issue. (Bike was fixed.) I appreciate the owner's help.”

“Don't listen to the negative reviews. They're really good and conveniently located to anyone living in DTLA. I came to have my rear wheel replaced, and they fixed a bunch of other stuff on my bike without even charging me. I had a great experience.”
“I got a bike from them two months ago. The sized me up and make sure it was the right bike for me. They always want me to bring my bike in yo check it out. I am going to get my shoes and pedals sometime this week from them.”
“Bought a used BMX on FB Marketplace and went here to have them tighten up bolts and brakes. I also asked a lot of questions and they were quite helpful and not condescending.”
“Felipe was so quick and helpful! I just had a minor issue— the derailleur was a little loose— and he fixed it in no time. I will be making this my go-to bike shop”
“Fantastic shop, accommodated me after multiple local shops refused the fix. Quick turn around, fair price and a friendly atmosphere. I was described everything that was done at my request, and learned a bit in the process. 5 genuine stars.”
“Although there was a language barrier, Anna prepared the best bike for me ? I will come again. Thanks to Hiro-san too. I want to make friends with the barking kids too ?”
“The customer service is over the top! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Our bike rack was broken so they delivered our repaired bikes quickly and for a very fair price. This is not the closest bike shop to my house but worth the drive.”
