Visited here during a vacation as the reviews were good. Not impressed. I had acrylics which were not done very well at all. Technician never trimmed my nails or tidied up the cuticles at all. Nails on both hands are different lengths and some are squint! Asked them to file the corners of a square nail and she filed the sides too so they are a weird shape now.
They seemed to make up the prices at the counter as my daughter and I were charged different prices for our pedicures and when the bill came to $214 she put $215 onto the card (not a lot of money but a bit cheeky) then insisted that I go to the atm for money for a tip and wouldn’t allow me to add it onto the card. Won’t be going back here when we next visit that’s for sure!!!!

I won’t go anywhere else for my nails! Jenny and her team are the best. Whether I’m getting acrylics, a gel mani, or a pedicure they do everything to perfection. I can show any picture and they do it so well every time! So glad my sister recommended me here a couple years ago. I went somewhere else one time and regretted it. This is the best place to get your nails done!

No more ! ! I used to go there for few years, also got my friends go there, few times it happened to me that Jenifer left me in the middle of doing my nails at a position that I couldn't left , and got a walk-in costumer that was more important than me. Also few times it happens to me that as soon as I walk at the door, (always with scheduled appointments) they asked me if I want pedicure as well when my appointment was for doing my nails. Stupid me I agreed to do pedicure and when my feet in the water my nails appointment was delayed. My friends stop going there because the same reason that they don't respect your time. Today it happens to me again. My appointment was scheduled to 2:30 I rushed to get there on time , at 2:30 Jenifer was still busy with other customer, as usual they asked me if I want pedicure, unfortunately I agreed although I did few days ago, but I did it because it's better than just wait. The lady took of the nail polish and cut my nails a little bit , and by this time 2:40 Jennifer finished with previous customer. Instead of coming to me she got another customer. I asked her what about me she told me she will do the other one fast, I told her I don't want her to do her fast I want her to start doing my nails it's already over my appointment time. However I took my feet out of the water and I told her I am leaving. I was charged 25$ WTF??!! I don't know why I paid but I went to the car crying. So disrespectful. I spoke to my friend and she told me that is the reason why she is never coming there again. Their job is decent, but nothing to write home about, however if you are looking for a place that will respect your time, that will not leave you in the middle and go serve someone else, this is not the place for you. Never again!

Very friendly and professional. I brought my mom for her very first pedicure ever, and she was in love. The ladies loved her, too, and we all had a great time. They did a wonderful job on my and my mom's toes, and I will definitely come back again. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Just make sure to bring cash because you cannot tip with your card or any other electronic method.

I've been coming to Romance Nail Spa and seeing Emily for my nail appointments for almost 2 years now. I am ashamed to admit it but I am EXTREMELY picky about my nails. Yes-- I am that crazy person. But-- hear me out-- I truly believe that if I am paying to have my nails done, they should be done to my expectations (within reason) and I think that many of us salon-goers would agree. I have yet to find any nail tech who freehands a French manicure the way Emily does. She is so incredibly precise and the lines are always crisp. She is also extremely kind and remembers your preferences after seeing her 2-3 times. She also gives a meannnnm hand and forearm massage!! So if you are as picky as I am when it comes to getting your nails done, do yourself a favor and visit Emily here. You will not be disappointed.

So I will start off and say they HAD potential but after my last experience I will say just avoid this place if you care about attention to detail..... it will LITERALLY feel like pulling teeth with these people and feedback given to them nicely might I add will immediately have you stared at by all there staff...they will start talking in their native language most definitely about you....If someone is a PAYING customer and you are performing the service you accepted you should be able and skilled enough to perform it with perfection and if not try again and do better or at least have a pleasant attitude about it. The work here is subpar so helping them along the way is needed I've been here 3 times trying to give them a chance but each time they just suck tbh and will treat you differently because your "complaining" the lady literally said under her breath "OMG" which I ignored when I told her to fix something also when it came to the massage portion because she was mad she had to fix so many things (because she's just not that great) started to literally just sweep her hands on my legs and feet as a "massage" just a terrible experience each time just pay more and get better it's worth it!! Only good thing about this place is they take people last minute also the prices are good if you like crappy nails and crappy service

Went there on a top recommendation from a trusted friend. Made a proper appointment for dip removal and application. I've been getting that done for 10 years at other places. No issues. Upon arrival, they put my hands in boiling hot acetone to soak. ???? I have long natural nails. When I complained, they said they would have to wrap my nails in foil. (That's normally how it is done.) they put on acetone and cotton and wrapped my nails in foil and then left me to take a walk in client for a manicure. ??? What happened to my scheduled appointment?? I sat with foils on for almost an hour. Very bad for nails. And I took the foils off myself as I was told it would just be a few more minutes. But still more time passed. As we approached the hour mark I had to leave because of how this was all handled. The cotton has cemented to my nail beds and my nails were so sore with whatever acetone they used. This is how I had to leave and find another establishment which handled all as expected. Not sure why I got this poor level of inconsiderate service but this place is a huge NO for me.

Loves it! Just finished getting a fill and pedicure. Take their time, pay attention to detail and do a great job. The ladies are so sweet here. I love the ambiance as well. Very relaxing and low key. I think this is my new spot! Very happy! You won't be disappointed!

This afternoon, Jennifer, the long-standing operator at this establishment, turned away my 80 year old mother and loyal customer for over 15 years. She would not accept a gift card my mom had from 2014 because it "expired." I called Jennifer inquiring on this, completely expecting that there must have been a misunderstanding of some sort and that Jennfer would realize the mistake. She quite simply said she would not take the gift card after all these years. It was against the "policy" to accept an expired gift card... a policy authored and dictated by Jennifer herself, not one of some other nebulous and elusive owner/operator. I tried explaining to her that the gift card is good as cash, bought, and paid for, and monies that Jennifer reaped the benefit of, but no service was extended in return. Jennifer was snarky, rude, dismissive, and instead of seeing the BIG picture, she would rather lose our family of customers than allow my mom to redeem the value of the card. Before I started to write this review, I called Jennifer back to give her the option to make this right or expect that a review on Yelp would be the next appropriate measure for this situation. Jennifer did not converse with me. Instead, she handed the phone to a customer, not an employee of the salon, to speak on her behalf. Clearly, that went nowhere as this cutomer had no fundamental understanding of the situation or a grasp of the facts, but rather a spokeshole for Jennifer. I engaged with said customer, but quickly realized this woman was out of her element, had no idea on how to run a business or what it means to stay out of someone else's business. I don't normally write negative reviews or any reviews for that matter, but this one really was on a whole different level of blatant disregard for the elderly, for long-standing customers, and a massive failure of not doing right by customers, especially ones that have stayed true and loyal for years. She has lost all four members of our family over a decision that saw pennies over dollars, a small picture over big picture, and foolishness over common sense. Jennifer, shameful on your part. We will never step foot in your business again. In an area littered with nail salons on every block, those that stand the test of time will always put principal, loyalties, and graciousness over profit. Romance Nails does not exude the qualities that matter.

I've been coming here for about 5 years now. Jenifer, Kathy and Emily are the best. Very clean salon and welcoming to every customer that walks in. Sent many of my friends and they are happy too!!
