I was referred here from 'Muse House Retreat,' when I had a reading completed with Leo a couple doors down. He told me to browse along a couple of cute local stores because they are all similar one way or another. I stumbled upon 'Scentsabilities,' shop where I met Marshall, this giant, Brown 3.5 years old Poodle who immediately greeted me as if we have been long term buddies. He was sooooo sweet and well-behaved. W2G, Marshall!!!! I had a ton of fun playing with you while browsing some table displays. I met his owner, Michelle and store owner, Nan. They are all extremely friendly folks here around the 'Muse House Retreat,' block. I found a lot more crystal collections to what I already own. In fact, I will Need a room renovation getting rid of some former junk to hold the incoming, new crystal collections. I'll take more pics of what I bought here after sharing this review in hope to further help this business grow. What a local Studio City, CA., gem. Special thanks to Marshall, Michelle and Nan for showing me a great time shopping here. I'll be here next week. XoXo.

We're only 12 days into the New Year and already the award for "Most Asinine Interaction" of 2024 goes to the feckless exchange I had with the owners of Scentsabilities yesterday morning. Yesterday, I walked down Tujunga (as I frequently do) and my dog stopped to sniff the stone decor in front Scentsabilities. Please note: where my dog was sniffing is very obviously covered in multiple layers of piss, grime, and a septic color of brown. As my dog sniffs, I turn around and see a man and woman (who I assume are the owners) standing very close behind me. I assume I'm blocking entry to their store, I pardon myself, and move out of out their way. Before moving on, the man tells me that when dogs pee in front of their business it causes a smell and it's really bad. Now, I am a conscientious dog owner. If there's a sign that says "No Dogs" or "Curb Your Dog", I follow those signs and respect the wishes of the person/family/business that put it up. Furthermore, I'm not above apologizing. However, there were no signs and the thick layers of urine looked several years deep. Still, I told the man "OK" and asked if they had any signage up to deter future dog owners. Before the man could respond, the woman obnoxiously spoke over him and raised her voice just to condescend to me that it's "common sense" to not let your dog pee in front of a storefront. *slow clap for the woman* LOL. To speak of "common sense" when a simple google map search showed me that pee spot has been on their storefront since 2020 and yet neither owner has thought to place a sign to ward off dogs from continuing to urinate there, is suuuuure giving (I dunno) the opposite of "common sense" to me. Love being the whipping girl of two grown adults who pick and choose the day (or year) they're upset about the years deep piss layering their storefront. Please keep in mind, there was nothing aggressive or uncomfortable about my exchange with the man. It was the woman who, unprovoked, chose to make our exchange aggressive; which the man joined in on to support her paper thin insult at me. Both the woman and man then proceeded to use a favorite tactic of bullies looking to abrasively shut down an argument or conversation in order to shirk responsibility for their actions/words: loud talking. When I realized I was dealing with deeply unserious and emotionally immature people, I ended my interaction with both of them and moved on with my dog. To use elementary insults as a grown woman in 2024 is certainly a choice, but putting up with power tripping adults in their 50's with the audacity to raise their voice at me on a Friday morning is not on my bingo card for 2024. Based on this interaction alone, Scentsabilities is a HARD PASS. In the spirit of "common sense", there's nothing at this store you can't get from Amazon or artisans directly without the mark up. I would know, I just patronized this place last week. Never again.

This is a good gift shop. THEY SELL A LOT OF OLD STUFF , from several seasons back one piece leftover here and there still at top dollar with a keystone jacked up price added. Staff is so nasta and cant be bothered with Q&A they tell u off to yr face .and there are a few back up items to replace sizes. I had to walk out today the woman did not want to give service she said i cant be bothered and i dont need this tod. ay. I told her i have to tack my bag full of cash and move on .too bad i wanted to have fun a blow some cash. She said "I dont care." I said of course not .its not yr store. The small nasty troll of a woman who hates to be nice and professional most likley gets a pay check, sad for the woman who owns the store who is after full price on her product and ends up stuck with Merchandise because of her Pompis primadona bitter staff that cant be inconvenienced making a sale or serving a client. There were only 2 shoppers in the store. I had a pile of little purchases $400. $158 DOLLAR TOP.THIS TROLL HAD NOTHING TO LOOSE.THE LAST TIME I WENT IN THE SAME ELDER WAS WORKING I WAS NOT INTO HER NASTY VIBE .OR CONFERTATION THAT VISIT EITHER.SHE MUST BE THE MON.TUESDAY SLOW DAY STAFF .DUMP HER

This place sells you an item without specifically telling you it’s a final sale. I bought a dress last night and tried to return it today and was told I could not. They wouldn’t even offer a store credit. In the future, sales people should tell customers that the item is a final sale BEFORE the purchase and the receipt should say final sale. It’s particularly frustrating because the sales person saw me hesitating and she never said “you should be sure because it’s a final sale.” This store may have made a sale in the short run but lost a longtime customer for good.

The shop is really cute and a lot of fun but I found the notebook I bought for 100 bucks here for 20 dollars online all day and the sound bowl I bought for 200 I found for 65! I could have a heart attack what kind of mark up is that?? It’s fun to look around but if you see something you like just give it a google search before you purchase I definitely just threw a few hundred to the wind- the shopping experience is cool enough to buy a couple of small things though but they’re totally ripping off the unsuspecting shopper

If I could give zero stars i would. The store is nice enough and the merchandise is good, but extremely overpriced. I had the unfortunate experience to be waited on by the owner who was impolite, rude and totally dismissive of me when I asked questions about the merchandise. I decided then not to buy anything since I could get the exact same items elsewhere or online without the additude. It’s obvious she cares nothing about her customers. Extremely disappointed.

I came here to look for a gift and saw some really cute Voluspa candles. I checked the prices underneath them and it said $12 so that's what I assumed to pay plus tax. Well when I got home and noticed the lady who rang me up took off the sticker from the bottom of the candle. I double checked my receipt and she charged me $14.50 plus tax. I had called to explain that all of the small candles had showed a sticker that said $12 on the bottom. Voluspa sells it online for $13- not even $14.50. The lady over the phone kept insisting that they all were priced $14.50 and that there was nothing she could do about it. She also said she took of the sticker because I told her it was a gift for a friend... ok I could have done that myself after? That seemed like an excuse. I'm not even mad at the fact that it was an extra $2.50 I'm just mad that she shadily changed the price and didn't acknowledge it after. Buyers beware of them overcharging you because they won't honor the prices that were placed on the item if it shows up different on your receipt and they will make any excuse to avoid correcting this issue. I'm disappointed and won't be coming back here again.
