I can't say who did my hair, but I will say that I absolutely loved my haircut. Only been here once so far but it has been a great experience. It was also quiet so I was able to have a nice conversation with them while I got my haircut instead of having to yell over loud music or hectic atmosphere. Great for people with low social batteries, introverts, or anybody that just appreciates a peaceful haircut

I absolutely loved going to sol salon ask for Lisa. she was the one who done my hair and she did absolutely amazing. The haircut was perfect and I did a balayage and she made the color absolutely perfect she knew what she was doing! Just show her a picture of what you want and she will get it done. I highly recommend Lisa at sol salon

Wow, what an amazing experience at Sol Salon! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and excellent customer service. The stylist, Marisol, is a true artist - she listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. The ambiance of the salon is so chic and inviting, making me feel relaxed and pampered throughout my visit. I was offered water and coffee. I left feeling like a whole new person, with a fabulous haircut and color that received compliments from everyone. I can't recommend this salon enough - 5 stars all the way!

Great experience. Marysol was very flexible. I asked her if she was willing to change my appointment to 30 minutes before and she said yes. Happy with my root touch up and hair trim.

This was one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. The lady who did my hair was incredibly kind, engaging, and helpful. She did my hair exactly the way I wanted it after looking at a picture I brought as reference. I'll be visiting this place again in the future for sure! Thanks for an awesome experience! 100/10

OBSESSED WITH MY HAIR! I haven't had this great of a haircut in a very long time. I went to Sol Salon today as a new client and my stylist was Lisa. I have extremely thick hair that is also pretty wavy. It's always scary to go to any new stylist with thick/curly hair as it needs to be cut in a certain way. My hair really needed some love. It had grown out and had no shape to it whatsoever. I went in with a style in mind. I wanted curtain bangs and a butterfly haircut. I started showing her several photos of what I wanted and she then said, "you know, there's something called a butterfly cut and it would look great on you..." so it was very clear to me that she knows her stuff and I immediately knew my hair was in good hands. I also like that she commented she cuts her clients hair how they want it cut, not how SHE thinks it should be cut...that's a great stylist. Long story short, she took the time to listen to what I really wanted. She asked me several times if the length was good or if I wanted to go any shorter. I'm beyond happy and have already discussed setting up another appointment for a grown out balayage that needs to be touched up. You're hair is in good hands with Lisa! Thank you Lisa!

The stylist (Lisa) was 5 minutes late. She had some ridiculous excuse for why she was late and tried to drum up sympathy rather than sincerely apologizing for her lateness. The hair wash was disappointing and I'm pretty sure there's still dry shampoo left on my scalp from the day prior as she didn't really scrub it. When she clipped my hair up to blow it out, she didn't secure it to my head well and then kept brushing over the clipped hair, yanking it out of the clip. She used the most ridiculously awkward tool to curl my hair during the style - one of those automatic spin-y wands that a middle schooler might be excited about using and she wasn't familiar with using it. Note to stylists with new equipment: don't test it on paying customers for goodness sake. And to top it all off, she complained about her life the entire time. I'm a pretty quiet / awkward person when getting any beauty treatment done, and most estheticians pick up on that and don't talk a lot, OR they're incredibly skilled conversationalists and make me feel really comfortable talking. This was awkward on almost all levels. AND she was insistent on taking pictures of me when she was finished! The first she snapped of the back of my hair without my consent and then, when she asked to take one of my front and I said no, she arranged my hair over my face asking if that was okay instead. I wanted to leave so I just let her, but damnit, consent is important! No means no! I don't want my pictures on your page to make it look like your business is awesome when I had a terrible experience. The salon itself looked incredibly throw-together - crap piled up on carts everywhere rather than organized neatly, and in general was just not a very welcoming place. I will not be returning, but I did preemptively karma-insure myself for this bad review by tipping 25% of the original cost of the treatment before the Groupon that I used. I'm not a monster.

This salon is great! They described it as a neighborhood salon which is actually really cool to see in LA area (I am from a cute little suburb of San Diego where there are boutique salons everywhere); this is a sweet salon without being so uppity. Lisa and her colleague who owns the salon are excellent stylists; clearly very seasoned and were excellent with color. I had my hair done about 2/3 weeks ago now and it looked horrible. Lisa worked her magic in time for my upcoming honeymoon and its now a million times better. She was very careful to keep the integrity of my hair, work with me even on the charges (which I so appreciated because it was so expensive. I had a wonderful experience. I was in that last salon where I left in tears for almost 6 hours just for highlights and a cut. This was totally different. Lisa cares about her clients and goes above and beyond for them (just in a quiet sort of way you have to really respect). She is just a very talented and caring stylist. I highly recommend her and this salon.
