I've known Julie for 10+ yars and have always been impressed by her ultimate devotion to the dogs/animals she rescues. If anything, she might even care too much and would take the shirt off her own back to help or shelter an animal in need, especially senior animals.We fostered a dog for Julie, and eventually adopted the sweet dog. Even after we adopted her, Julie continued to offer help, in any way, for any medications, or vet care that our adopted "Penny" needed. She was a senor dog, so didn't live long with us but we were glad to help Julie and support the work she's doing.She lives and breathes for her rescued animals, and is always seeking to help more. I know she networks with many other rescuers and is always wiling to help and do more.

Wonderful rescue! The Pepper Foundation puts time and energy and love into their rescue dogs and has helped so many senior dogs in shelters! The work this rescue does is truly incredible-- they really care! Thank you for all you do

I have watched The Pepper Foundation care for senior and special needs dogs for almost 2 decades and am constantly in awe of how much time and devotion Julie the founder spends caring for the animals and her foster families. Her entire life is devoted to her foundation at times, to the determent of her own needs. These dogs are lucky to have her on their side.

An excellent rescue for special needs and senior dogs, The Pepper Foundation goes that extra mile, making sure each and every dog gets a proper medical exam which includes bloodwork, x-rays and whatever else may be needed. Their knowledge of special needs and senior dogs is second to none.

We are still hoping that this foundation will return a beloved dog of 19 years to its owners that have been trying for 2 weeks now to get him back & they are very aware of this & continue to keep him hostage, with his deteriorating health at 19 years old they fear he’s in jeopardy of survival. For anyone with an elderly dog beware of this organization as a rescue they are more like a kidnapping foundation ? Will continue to pray they do the right thing ??.
