Just took my CNA skills exam here yesterday. The staff were very nice and friendly, especially Chanel! If you're coming here for testing, make sure you come early because it is based on first come first serve. Good luck!

I took both of my written and skills yesterday at this test site and passed with flying colors. Let me tell you, do not I repeat do not let the comments at the bottom discourage you from going to this test site.
Some things you need to know before you go and take your exams here:
1) please have your ID and SS card ready (you’ll be asked to show those two as proof and only those two. Your SS has to be signed)
2) don’t bring any belonging with you. (No purse, no study materials) cell phones are ok but you will have to turn it off before you go to the back to take your exams
3) come with an opened mind set, yes I understand it could be nerve wrecking or maybe anxious but trust me, these ladies are here to help passed you and not fail you
4) it is a small testing site, please expect to wait. There is only 3-4 proctor instructor here, they can only test so many at a time. (There’s maybe 40+ students there to test and each student get 30 minutes to do their skills) Don’t be mad if you have to wait. Everyone would like to have their fair share of getting tested
Now on to my experience here. My test time was at 9. Checked in time started around 8:20ish. It was based off of first come first serve. If you’re there for the written test, they try to have you check in first just so they can get you situated. Chanel did an excellent job at checking everyone in. She got done around 9:20? She did give the testers an option if they would like to come back at 10:30 so they can either get breakfast or study some more. The skills testing group started at 9:10? The written test group started at 9:33. I finished my written part around 10:10. I was instructed to come back at 12 to do my Skill portion. I came back at 11:40 and started my skills a little before 12. But keep in mind you will have to be a patient for the other testers. It was quick and simple. As long as you remember (opening, closing, infections control then your good, patient safety) the proctor will be testing at least 3-4 of you at a time. She will correct you along of the way if she sees that you’ve made a mistake but don’t take that as a negative, also she might ask you to repeat yourself because she didn’t hear you or see what you did (because she’s testing 3-4 of you at a time). Again they are there to help you pass, not fail you. If you need a moment tell them you need a moment. Step to the side take a deep breath collect yourself and try again.
Good luck to all of you future CNA. I hope this review helps!

The nurses here who are proctoring these exams are not doing it correctly. First of all the Rns switched off with our 1st skill and so we ended up having to do it twice. Then the nurse instructor continously made fun of me for being nervous. On top of that when I left another person who just took her skills told me that they gave her the answers the whole time and showed her how to do it instead of testing to see if she could on her own. Idk what is happening at this facility. But it seriously needs some updating for their RN's on how to properly proctor a skills exam. If you can avoid it DONT TAKE YOUR SKILLS TEST HERE!!! -forgot to mention this but one of my skills was peri care and she made me practice the set up on my partner. Not a mannequin. Made both of us uncomfortable.

Great experience with the skills test. Get there early because a line does form before your skills test - maybe 30min early? Check in needs your ID and SSI. You will wait a lot. I waited 3 hours to actually do my test, so your 9am really turns into a 11:30am. I just used that time to study at a local cafe literally a couple blocks down the main street.
All staff were professional, understanding, and kind. They told me where the materials were and what to expect. They would give warnings/heads ups if you made a mistake a long the way, if you go back and correct they wil let it pass. They also help get materials if you can't find them. They really do want you to pass, and they will do everything they can (state wise) to ensure you do.
At the end, I got a candy as a reward for going through the skills. Moving 24 hours later, I passed and now certified. Pretty simple!

I just completed my CNA skills exam in March 2025, and after reading some of the reviews, I was feeling pretty nervous. However, when I arrived, everything was well-organized, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We were asked to wait in a designated area, and I appreciated the rules about no talking and turning off our phones—totally understandable.
A lot of reviews mentioned that the proctors could be rude, which made me even more anxious. But when I was called up, I was relieved to find that the proctor was actually very nice and put me at ease. They made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the exam. I also noticed that if you made small mistakes, they would give you the opportunity to correct them—so it didn't feel like you were immediately being penalized. There is a restroom, a lot of people in the reviews were saying there wasn't but they do have one for testers.
The ladies at the check-in desk were also super nice, and overall, the experience felt very positive. The proctor genuinely wants you to pass, which was reassuring. I passed the exam, and the results came in 24 hours later. My skills test involved measuring manual blood pressure, transferring a patient from bed to wheelchair, applying an elastic stocking, PPE, and hand washing. The whole process was quick, and I was free to leave right after I finished.
My best piece of advice is to get there early—my appointment was at 9:00 a.m., and I arrived at 8:30 a.m. They open the doors at 8:45 a.m., and the earlier you check in, the better since they go in order. Stay calm, don’t overthink it.

I’ll admit, reading the reviews of this testing facility the night before my skills exam made me nervous. However, as soon as I arrived, it became clear that those reviews weren’t entirely accurate. While the staff overseeing the skills exam can be stern and direct at times, it’s evident that their primary goal is to see candidates succeed. They’re not there to make you fail—they genuinely want you to pass.
Obtaining a CNA license is a significant achievement, and it’s not something that should be handed out lightly. The staff takes this responsibility seriously, ensuring that only competent and prepared individuals earn their certification. During my exam, I made a few mistakes, but I was given the opportunity to correct them and demonstrate that I understood what I was doing. They recognize that nervousness can cause slip-ups, and as long as you avoid critical errors and show that you have the necessary skills, you’ll pass.
The entire process was well-organized. I followed a clear line, and when it was my turn, my partner and I were called up efficiently. The exam itself went smoothly—I even finished with plenty of time to spare. As soon as I completed my exam, I was free to leave.
In the end, my initial doubts about Qual-Ed were unfounded. As the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. Form your own opinion based on your experience, and mine was excellent. The staff was professional, the process was smooth, and I felt supported throughout. If you stay calm, focus, and trust your training, you’ll do great!

Took my skills test here this past week and read all the reviews prior so I was a tad nervous. My experience was good and I did feel it was well organized. Chanel was very sweet but she is stern with no talking because others are testing and really that’s how it should be. The staff is welcoming and helpful. My school had no dates for testing and I got tired of waiting, so I took a chance here and I’m glad I did. Get there early so you can be one of the first to do your testing, or you could be there a long time as each person gets 30 minutes.

Worst place for taking your skills exam. The staff overall were unprofessional, rude, and unorganized to say the least. They weren’t very specific on waiting instructions for testing, they sort of just rushed us pass the exam room where people were taking their written test and had us crowd up in a small waiting area. They didn’t let us know if we were getting called in a particular order and would just aggressively call random people to perform hand washing, without even paying attention if we were completing each step from the state handbook.
As for my experience with the evaluator and the rest of my skills, it was HORRIBLE. She had my partner and I complete unnecessary steps that would throw us off from completing the steps that are on the STATE HANDBOOK. Not only was she doing that, but she would also stop me every time I would complete a step as if I’m doing it incorrectly and demanding me to do it “her” way and not the way it is performed in the state handbook. The evaluator kept stressing that she had so many people to test after us and that we should skip steps in order for her to get through her day, which to me doesn’t seem ethical since this is a state test and we are expected to do all steps on the state handbook.
After I completed my skills with worries that I didn’t pass due to her overall demeanor, I asked the lady in the lobby if I am allowed to sit in there and wait for my ride. She responded yes, but another staff came out and rudely said I am not allowed to sit in the lobby. I kindly told her that the lady allowed me to sit in here and she continued to go back and forth trying to say the lady didn’t know that candidates cannot wait in the lobby is if I was the one who was supposed to know. Every staff I came across had an angry demeanor and were unprofessional physically and emotionally. One staff was wearing open toed sandals with scrubs and was just chewing away on a bag of candy, which seems unprofessional to me due to the particular environment.
Overall, I may be too sensitive for this environment but I definitely would not recommend Qual Ed for any testing.

Horrible experience, they made us wait outside for hours in miserable heat, was there at 8:15 an didn’t get called back until close to 3:00.. they failed me right away, the proctor was like, “ we have a new system today an I can’t figure this tablet out” 🙄, none the least.. it was a horrible experience

Please only go here for CNA skills and or written testing if you **absolutely must**!I was reluctant to do my tests here because other people I knew who had done their skills/written test here had nothing good to say about Qual Ed’s proctors, professionalism, and facility. (Refer to other’s reviews, too!) But as you may already know if you’re looking to do your skills/written test, available slots are few and far between.
At any rate, Qual-Ed appears to have **ZERO** respect for any of the candidate’s time, money, and health. My personal experience is that the original arrival time was pushed several hours to 11a. Inconvenient and mildly unprofessional, but I was warned via phone call in advance and I was still in good spirits. On that day at the given time, everybody was told to approach the back door of the school at the same time, give our paperwork, and sit down to wait until around half past 11. During that time, we were forced to wait *outside* on a sunny, late summer afternoon in the back of a dingy shopping center with a narrow sidewalk, in the middle of nowhere with not even enough foldable chairs for everybody there! Several people were getting quite hot and uncomfortable! Once inside, it was another around 1.45, maybe 2 hours of waiting, completely silent with 6-8 people sitting on tables close together, staring at the wall. We weren’t allowed phones or study material, we were directly across the room in earshot of people actively taking skills tests and a classroom with class in session next door. Many people were walking in and out. The water even went out in the facility during the day, throwing a wrench in the valuable hand washing skill everybody is required to demonstrate! It seemed that the delays had combined many people’s differing test times, causing a backup. Their excuse is that they they tell us to free our entire day on the testing day, but I hope you also agree that such a long, unnecessary wait will not help you be in the correct headspace to perform well on a test!!
Some of this may not be the fault of Qual-Ed and or it’s administrators, I understand things happen and you have to make do with what you have. But what I want Qual -Ed to take out of my review is that many people I spoke to had the same, or even worse experience.. With the poor time management and blatant disregard to people’s comfort and valuable time, (no indoor lobby for the people who drive for hours on the highway to be here???). Not to mention other’s comments about the poor attitude of the proctors.. personally I didn’t have a specific issue with anybody, just felt the aura typical of a slightly judge-mental, overworked and rushed person who can’t care less about you and your success. Which unfortunately is very common.. But this is besides my main point, please refer to others reviews for better insight.
In conclusion.. Qual-Ed is deserving of this and the other poor reviews. I hope they will take their candidate’s insight and begin to do better and learn to accommodate and respect the people who travel from all parts this state to test there, I imagine half, if not most, of their candidates come here from very far away. If you need to choose between going here asap for your testing, and waiting a little longer for a closer and or different location… I’d say the better choice is to be patient. Please have a good rest of your day and I hope my review helped you.
