Botanik is really just one of the loveliest and cutest little home goods store on this strip. I come a few times a year and always feel that the selection of items change which is nice as they aren't hanging on to the same old things. But don't get me wrong they have amazing staple items like their candles, jewelry, holiday decor, and little decor items for the home. It's a small shop but again they pack a lot into this little boutique that I always end up leaving with something! The girls that work the counter have always been friendly. They welcome you in and allow you space to shop. But always helpful when asking a question and wrap up my items with care. Pro tip: they sell some of the best candles here!

Great boutique for gifts, prices range from low to very high, so easy to find something to buy even on a budget.. but then higher quality items for others. Nice layout and variety. Super friendly staff, Amanda was very helpful and assisted in putting together some gift packages that were perfect. I will return for more.

1. Another beautifully curated Home /Garden staple in Summerland. There's plenty of easy parking and you will note this is across from New relocated Porch 2. Kiersten helped me yesterday. Thank you 3. Got a beautiful hanging plant that prefer shade for outside. Also picked up a food or I noticed it had a dent . They are replacing it. Or offered a small discount. I didn't realize it's made of cement. It will look very pretty in its new home. See photo. 4. From Jewelry To large prices - there is some thing for your home/garden or for gifts. 5. I'm giving it a four because they are pretty particular about designers. If you are in the trade they usually work with you. you provide your business license. But for some of us who dress sets and events were not reselling. They made a one time exception but not for people in our industry it seems. 6. I've been coming here for years sometimes being friends and almost always leaving with items that we had not realized would be perfect for a project or our own home

I’ve used Botanik a few times now - they made the most incredible floral wreaths for a funeral and also hand-delivered beautiful flowers to a loved on the same day I sent in my order. They are wonderful to work with - kind, creative, helpful and efficient. They are definitely the floral company to use in Oslo.

This is a really cute store but a complete tourist trap. It's a boutique so everything they sell is at a high price but they are selling things you can buy for a lot less money elsewhere. I called to inquire about plants thinking it was some sort of nursery and they did have plants but a very small selection for ridiculous prices. If you are a California native and buy plants on the regular then you know that selling a fiddle leaf tree for 250+ dollars is laughable. I pointed out to the sales girl that I could find a fiddle for a fraction of that price and she was kind of at a loss for words because I'm not wrong. I ended up buying an overpriced candle because the smell was amazing. Just an ehhhh experince.

These people were so utterly disrespectful! Yelling at 10 o'clock in the morning and harassing us about our parking, right in front of our children. We were just passing through and stopped at a local business to eat but after the harassment we endured from this company about whether we spoke or knew how to park, we will never stop in this area again! They ONLY reason they received a one star is because that's the lowest I could give. These people should be ashamed of how they belittle and treat others so poorly, NOT a professional way to do business at all.

This Boutique is beautiful and fabulous. Lots of gorgeous pieces and a lovely garden with treasures everywhere you turn. The owner is always so kind and friendly. So are all the other employees. I don't understand why people are complaining about the prices. You get what you pay for. Plain and simple. Botanik carries items you just don't find anywhere. Everything is of the highest quality. This is a specialty home boutique and garden! Not a big box store! I enjoy supporting small, local business owners. love it so much, I literally go once a week just to check out the new items.

Great, little boutique filled with beautiful home goods, plants, scented candles and more! I was recently on the hunt for the perfect wood gift for my husband in celebration for our 5th wedding anniversary. I knew that I wanted to incorporate drift wood or reclaimed wood with air plants and set out to Botanik to see what I could find. My husband grew up in Summerland so finding something in his hometown would make the gift all the more special. Botanik did not disappoint. They had a vast assortment of air plants both inside the shop and outside in their garden. They also sold pieces of hanging driftwood already complete with an air plant affixed to it. While those pieces were beautiful, I did not think they'd fit the space in my husband's office very well so I opted to design a custom piece. I found a gorgeous square bowl made of reclaimed wood in their bathroom section and paired it with two different air plant varietals; one short and spidery (the most common I've seen around SB) and one tall, grass like to add some height and depth to the piece. The ladies at Botanik then finished it off with some lovely decorative moss, answered my questions about air plant care and "wrapped" the item in their signature box with tissue paper. It turned out lovely! Customer service was sufficient. I found the staff to be helpful without being antagonistic. No one followed me around the shop hovering over my shoulder (a big pet peeve of mine especially in high end shops like this) and no one ignored me either (another pet peeve). I was surprised and impressed by their selection of designer pillows and throws. The candles made the entire shop smell like heaven (check out the pear scented candle) and the ambiance was very inviting. The aesthetic is similar to what you'd see in Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware, but scaled down. They make perfect use of their compact space. If you're looking for unique home goods or a special gift that isn't easily found at the big chain stores, I'd highly recommend checking out Botanik. If you're a tourist, make an afternoon of it and stop by the other businesses within walking distance to get a little taste of Summerland.

This great little boutique has some amazing pieces. The owner and staff are welcoming and always willing to help you find a great gift or something for yourself. I can see some people seeing it being out of their price range, but the pots and other imported, hard to find items are very unique and the quality is top shelf. I also like the outdoor area where if you're creative, you can pick from their assortment of inexpensive succulents and build your own assortment. I think first time visitors are a little surprised such a high end boutique is in Summerland. If Botanic was is Montecito, nobody would complain about pricing.

Overpriced to the point of insulting my intelligence as a consumer. A succulent arrangement I could have made myself was $1,050...throw pillows were $200...small wooden trunks were over $600...it's insanity. And there is no justification for these prices...no interesting histories for the items, no special material used, etc.
