“this is the place. it feels like an upscale store, super clean, organized and when i went they were playing classical music :,) the pieces are so well taken care of, and everything was 50% off! then - i looked at the prices and they are so FAIR for the very upscale pieces they have. i found a $550 veronica beard sweater for 30 DOLLARS! it was definitely my win for the day. the two women who run the shop are so kind, friendly, and actually take the time to share what the shop is all about and where the proceeds go. will definitely be back!”

“Overall, a good Goodwill. It was well organized, tidy, nothing on the floor, and I found some really nice jeans. The service was fantastic and they were so nice. The only downside is that they don't have fitting rooms, but I know most Goodwill stores don't. Oh the guy in the donations area was also really nice.”

“PROS: I have been here a few times and I was always able to find something that I really like and good quality for a great deal. The manager and the staff are always super friendly and helpful and everything is super organized for such a small store. They deserve a shout out!
CONS: If you hate crowds like I do. DO NOT come here during sales weekend. I came around noon on a Friday and almost everything is gone. There are tons of people cramming in a small store trying to hunt for deals so they ran out of cart quickly. Not ideal but I decided to park my cart outside of the rows so I don’t block people. Then a lady just EMPTIED my cart and TOOK my shopping bag while I was going through the racks! Thankfully, I was able to find her, got my bag back and found the items just tossing on the nearby rack where I left the cart. Knock a star off because of this.
P/s: If you’d like to go through the shoes bins. Bring gloves. Street parking only (with meters).”

“My favourite thrift store in LA. They always have discounted racks out front. It's sardine tight inside & their designer (base metal, trash a-la Kate Spade etc.) necklaces regularly priced at $25-40. Never found any good jewelry here, but had scored home goods & clothes. Definitely have to squeeze around, but it's all volunteer run (found some of them putting things out on the floor to be a little short-tempered). For all its negatives, when I'm not in LA, I miss this one.”

“Excellent thrift store. Quality merchandise, well-organized and run.
Their furniture selection is especially high-quality, impressive and a good value (not cheap but worth it).
The only thing that keeps it from getting 🖐🏻 ⭐ is that in the last year the prices at the discovery shops have shot way up.
I understand that for rare designer items, but for everyday things it's less of a value than it used to be and that's unfortunate.
Still, it's a fun place to look, and occasionally you can find a deal on other things.”

“This thrift store is fantastic. I remember coming here as a kid, I used to live around the neighborhood. Decided to come back and see what's changed. Not much, except the space is a lot smaller, but the selection of stuff is still awesome. The book selection, my favorite area, is nicely stacked. The prices are far better than Goodwill as well. The selection of baby and kids clothes is great. I'll be coming back soon to check out what's new.”
“Apparently things at Carriage Hope have changed dramatically for the better since the time of earlier reviews. Having had pretty bad experiences at local Salvation Armies and Goodwills, I decided to stop here to drop off a boatload of donations accumulated over the past year or two. The lady at the front desk was super nice, briefly peeked into some of my bags to determine whether she could use the items in the store, accepted everything, and helped me carry it all in. Then I walked through the store, which was extraordinarily well organized; it was easy to walk down the aisles and find things. Everything was neat and tidy (some other ladies were cleaning and dusting items) with no musty or (worse) cheap detergent smell. I even found some 100% cotton flannel PJ bottoms, which have become my go-to item to look for in thrift shops. Items are not individually priced with stickers or tags, but there's a price list posted next to the front door and they recommend taking a photo of it to consult while shopping. All-in-all, great experience.”

“Davin is the person who helped me at the Goodwill department. He went above and beyond, letting me know what items they had and making me more interested in purchasing things. He was very nice and took time to help customers. It wasn’t just about me, he helped others too. I thought it was very nice to have someone who truly cares. It’s a blessing to have workers like Davin. You feel like there’s always someone who can help you find what you need, maybe even things you didn’t know you needed, at a very good price. He explains how to use them and take care of them. I really appreciate that he took his time helping me and making me more familiar with the place. I truly appreciate him, and I hope this review helps him get recognition from management. He deserves the best. Without him helping me, I never thought I would go for a five star but he made me even wanted to get an extra star and put it there just because he is a reason why I had a good experience at the store and this locationthanks for hiring person like him”
