“Convenient and reasonable framing company! Came here with two canvas paintings to stretch and some block prints to frame. They did a great job with all of it!They also kindly cut and sold me a small piece of museum glass to a specific size to replace acrylic in a frame I received elsewhere.Brian was happy to help me and asked some questions and gave his advice on what would make sense for the pieces I brought in. The staff is not just some random folks, they all seem professional and knowledgeable. The prices weren't cheap, but also not overly expensive, it was in line with what I'd expect for a custom framing job.Although I don't know if I'd recommend them for any exotic needs (like fine joinery on the frames or something) they might handle other collectibles (like if you wanted help framing a guitar or something). And I wouldn't waste their time on something trivial (like frames for standard photos), though I think they'd kindly give you advice if you came in for that.Overall, I would recommend them and will be coming back!”
“Laasya Art Gallery is truly a gem. The paintings are beautiful, plus it's a lovely space to hang out and admire the art. I had some Indian paintings which I wanted to sell. Sonia, the owner of Laasya, was ever so helpful in getting appraisals and coordinating the sale with all the paperwork. I highly recommend Laasya Art Gallery, you will not be disappointed.”
“What a very lovely little cafe. I walked here from the Hyundai dealership to wait while my car was being serviced and it was a lovely place to spend the time.
The cafe interior is very pleasant, with art displayed along one wall and on the other wall is a selection of tchotchkes for sale, board games and other distractions for customers' use. Seating is great - there's plenty of it, with a mix of 2-person and 4-person options.
Avocado-Toast is my go-to morning food in cafes like this, so that's what I ordered. While it was very well presented, it just wasn't to my taste. The toast was too dry and hard for my liking; I feel like it was pre-toasted, not done when I ordered it. I also didn't love the contrast of the pickled onions with the avocado. But I acknowledge that another person might totally love it.
I also had a latte which was beautifully presented and delicious.
Will I come back to The Tamper Room next time I'm waiting for my car? For sure! I look forward to trying some of the other lovely food options.”
“What an amazing little theater! View and acoustics were very good. The grounds around the Villa are amazing. Great for a little hike/exploration before the show. It helps that the show we saw was very good, but I have to say the staff and volunteers were super nice and friendly.
We are definitively coming back again!”
“I’m so grateful to Mark and Atherton Fine Art for elevating the art that I have collected. With their seasoned design vision, they transform mildly interesting art into breathtaking masterpieces!”
“Beautiful, inspiring and peaceful place to visit. The exhibitions are always creative and beautifully curated. It’s not huge, but let’s say it’s part of its charm. Enjoy art without feeling rushed.”
“Support Local!! As far as streetwear/bay area gear Cukui has always been on top of their stuff. What's cool about the store is they have rotating artists display their work and yes it's available for purchase. #stayrooted”
“We purchased a painting from the Mook Gallery. After our purchase, we found the same painting online priced significantly less. I contacted Mook and was given an explanation of what we purchased vs what was being sold online. Our purchase was a real hand painted oil painting on fabric canvas and not a giclee printed on low quality plastic canvas. I appreciated getting a better understanding of the painting we purchased versus what we saw online that was less than half the cost.”
“Came in on Wednesday, Pamela was great to talk to about the current solo exhibition- Ellen Richman. Loved some of the abstract paintings!! Happened to come into her gallery space and saw the exhibit. My wife mentioned to Pamela that she has an art problem... Cheers Pamela!!”

“This is a lovely gallery. The art here is really great, especially the current exhibit by Abby Zhang! I would recommend this place to any art enjoyer. Or any art hater, it could convert them.”
“Deepti is awesome! I have been to painting classes all through my childhood and also tried one in Sunnyvale -- Deepti is by far the best. Both my kid and I go here. She's really patient and also helps bring out the creativity in you. What a great gem!”
