Ever since BMO took over Bank of the West we've had nothing but issues. Skeleton staff, errors upon errors with documents, inability to receive updated statement balances, or proof of funds. Absolutely ridiculous.

If there was a -1*I would do that rating, this is the worst bank in the history of banking. They put holds on my deposits for days and days, when I call no one seems to know why there's a hold and they release it. But why should I have to call? Plus it seems when the account is low there's always a hold on my deposits. This is a business checking account the checks are coming from businesses such as the City of Sunnyvale. So no rhyme or reason on the holds. If I call and beg they'll reimburse one overdraft fee that they caused by putting holds on deposits. I realize banks love to charge fees but I've been with Wells for 20 years and never have had such bad experiences!!!Another thing that has been such an issue is every person you talk to will tell you something different, cash credits instantly if put in the ATM I was told by a teller. Not true, one of the many wrong information I was given. It would be better if the tellers or whoever you call told the truth and said I don't know instead of misinformation!The former manager came to my work and suggested we join their bank what great service they had, he's no longer with him he quit as well as his assistant that helped me sign up for the account. So I'm doing what they did and leaving this bank. I would suggest never starting an account as hundreds of dollars later in fees that could've been avoided I regret ever joining this bank!!!

I've banked here frequently as it's close to my work, but also because it's easy to get to, ample parking, and I've never found that it gets backed up. What I really like are the tellers - especially Thien and team, they really do well with service and even remember you.

2 clerks helping one customer is ridiculous Other customers are important too Came over here because is close by my job but will prefer drive longer and don’t see this bad customer service I saw before the low start and I could do minus 1 if they allow me

I only need to visit this bank once a month for a loan payment, but will go out of my way to avoid this branch. I find the customer service at this location absolutely horrible. As many others here have pointed out, many of the staff are rude and condescending

Customer service in may last two visits was terrible. Spoke with Jon who was rude, short, asked irrelevant questions, and gave unclear answers. Yuck. They also changed the terms of my business account in the middle of the pandemic. Frustrating experience :(Edit, guess I'm not alone. John H seems to frustrate other customers. BOW - take a look at this guy please.

John is extremely rude and cannot offer helpful answers to basic banking questions. He asks irrelevant questions, cracks jokes, and is very unprofessional. I recommend another branch or to simply deal with another personality if you must be at this branch. I feel bad for the nice people who have to work with him every day. :(

I've been going to this branch for over two years. It's one block from my house and every time I go in I'm greeted by polite and friendly tellers. One time I had to change over $300 worth of coins, the teller patiently helped me count them. I will continue going to this branch and recommend members to do the same.

New manager John Huynh is the epitome of poor customer service and corporate banks in the US. If you come here while he's around I suggest you to go elsewhere.He just started working here recently and was bad enough to cause me to create an account elsewhere, although I've been with Bank of The West for the past 10 years. Nobody should be dealing this guy.

Thein the banker at the Tasman location is an absolute jackass. Terrible customer service skills and barely knows a thing. Incredibly rude, I'm surprised he has worked at this location for so long. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my house. Even when I call the branch he is incredibly rude and doesn't even want to try and help me. He just kept insisting I call 800 number over a simple issue. If you're thinking about making this branch your home branch definitely consider another bank cause you will have to deal with this guy. I would give this -5 stars after my experience today. I chose bank of the west because it's a little more personal but this guy ruins that whole experience. Going to start driving farther to another branch to avoid his awfulness.

John and his team are very professional. They are quick to help and easy to work with. This branch doesn't seem to get too busy, so you are always able to get things done without having to make a day of it.
