Liz turned my day around! I'm desperately trying to be a finance girlie and decided to rollover my 401k with JPM. After receiving my check I went to a different branch in Sunnyvale where I was told to "try at home on mobile." I knew the amount was too high for mobile. I was afraid that I did something wrong but decided to give it one more try at this branch. Liz is already a FINANCE GIRLIE! I didn't do anything but hand her my information and she just took care of it. She did everything right there, no issues. It's difficult to express how impactful her help was on my day and my finances. I'm grateful for Liz and everyone at this branch who took the time to help me today.

I am very surprised by the low reviews. When i look at the issues it looks like most of them were from a couple of years ago. Earlier this year when the banks started to collapse, I decided to shop for a new bank. It turns out that credit unions are not FDIC but a different insurance that may not be as protected. Who knows but the pessimist in me doesn't trust anyone. I went to several banks including a couple of chase branches. This one was the cleanest and had the shortest lines. It actually setup more like a private client bank with brand new offices. My wife and I interacted with James ( the boss), Jenny (wealth management), and Kristin (private banker). Everything went smoothly. We probably spent 3 hours talking to Jenny also pointed us to some interesting investment strategies. Since we had a lot to learn, we ended up meeting a couple of times. Each time we went way over time but they were so polite. A pleasant experience. Now that Chase and JP Morgan are combined, Chase is probably too "big" to collapse. Its one of the 4 banks that have been identified as banks that the fed will have to bailed out if things go south.I think I will move more money here. If there was a negative, it would be that its hard to book an appointment with a specific person. Seems the best way is to call them. Seems odd in 2023.

We have received excellent service at this bank. For over a year we have received help with a complicated estate. James Ku, the Branch Manager has been an excellent resource as well as as courteous and patient. We highly recommend this branch of Chase Bank, Sunnyvale, CA. Ted and Julie W.

Unsure why this branch only has 3.1 stars. I received 5 star experience from Peter Chen as I wanted to open a credit card today. He was super patient, friendly, and explained everything very well. Thanks Peter!

Have interacted with the staff at this center a few times and all of them were pleasant. Recent interaction with the manager here (Asian male) was really helpful. Would recommend!

I would have given ZERO stars but yelp has forced me to give one... “Rude and disrespectful treatment given to a grandmother on fixed to zero income. Philip at the Sunnyvale Branch should not be allowed to interact with customers under any circumstance, especially during this very difficult time. Would not accept loose change and advised Coinstar who takes a cut. Wrapped change and was humiliated a second time by Philip. What kind of a US BANK refuses cash of any kind?? Next letter is to CEO of Chase”.

Use another branch, atm is always broken. This is the closest branch to my house so the most common ATM to go to. I have given up. I have gone to it more than five times and gotten the same broken message. And these are not consecutive days. In addition, half the time your are in the middle of a transaction and it breaks down. Save your time and frustration and just go to another branch.

I have banked with Chase since it changed from Great Western in the summer I was getting called from their fraud department because of ATM charges being made. When I went to report them 30 days later the Personal Banker at this branch said " I am sorry for you hardship there is nothing we can do because of the overdraft" funny I was overdrawn because of charges to a rental company as well as several other charges in an area I don't and haven't been to since the 90's it totaled almost $6000 I attempted to correct this for 5 months and I was told it was in my geopolitical location 3 hours away when I don't drive. Then I was told to write a letter to Chase the day the shelter in place started. Chase doesn't train their employees I got different answers from each one and they do NOT care about their customers. This is the first time I had an issue with Chase and I would NOT recommend them.

Most unhelpful staff of chase branches I have ever experienced with.
