Lots of shenanigans here. The owner pushed hard for immediate Zelle prepayment and used scare tactics (telling you your car might “stop on the road”). Double-check what he tells you and labor estimates against information online: don’t let him scare or fool you so he can take advantage of your urgency to get the car fixed. Insist on an itemized list of parts and labor with prices before agreeing to anything, and never prepay as I did!
In my case, first repair done by them didn't work, I had to pay them though. Once I realized the car was drivable and the follow-up was a 10-minute job that my grandma could do, another $600 made no sense, so I asked to pick up my car. My texts went unanswered and calls were hung up. Later, I was told the shop wasn’t open Sunday (a lie), and then I was told a “part had already shipped” so a refund wasn’t possible. They even didn't know or forgot to connect the ground wire by the way.
What makes me very uncomfortable is that every time, before you even see what’s being done, there’s a call asking you to Zelle him money.

Sorry, but I can’t take my car back if the work was not done properly the first time.
The owner did asked me to bring the car back to make it right, but I don’t trust he will do a good job anymore ☹️ He change the belt, he probably didn’t test drive the car, because as soon as I got home from his shop the noise was loud, the video does not sound as strong as it sound live.

Knew I needed to replace all four shocks on my 24-year-old car. Nasir and Bilal replaced the shocks. I know longer feel the bumps on the road. I'm happy with the work done by First Auto Mechanic in Cupertino.

I would like to thank Nasir, the owner of First Auto Mechanic, for his outstanding service and exceptional customer care. After trying several other auto shops, Nasir was the only one who honored the terms of our telephone agreement. I was initially told that the service would take two hours, but when Nasir realized I didn't have a ride home and had to wait, he finished the job in just one hour. I highly recommend this auto repair shop for its reasonable prices, friendly service, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
