Still has a nice selection of items, but stay away from prepacked food. The prepacked food used to be good. Now they are either old or just made wrong. I bought some prepacked vegetables that were supposedly made on the same day, but had a rotting taste. Come to think of it, it says "Packed on..." not "made on..." I guess they aren't lying. Fast and efficient staff.

Was looking for a new Asian Supermarket to check out since I usually go to the common ones around my area such as Ranch 99 or Marina and I've been to Mitsuwa or H-Mart for specific Japanese or Korean groceries but when I found Hankook Supermarket under Japanese groceries in Yelp I decided to go check them out. It was amazed by how close this place was to my area located in Sunnyvale and noticed how spacious it was and filled with so many different variety of Korean and Japanese goods. Felt like a kid in a candy store going through all the different aisles and seeing things that I didn't see at other grocery stores. The selection of banchan and ready to go meals was plenty and I was practically eating with my eyes that i kept grabbing a few side dishes to take with me. Glad that they were at a decent price too. The aisle of Ramen and other noodle soups were both amazing and surprising since I saw a few things that I haven't seen before and picked up a few packs of those as well. They had a whole section of Kimchi and there's was an indoor eatery/deli where I got some seafood pancakes to go. There were so many yummy dishes available but wish I had more room in my tummy to buy more but I'll definitely be trying more next trip. They also had a small area where they were selling Japanese or Korean fashionable clothing and really cool looking shoes and accessories to choose from. I had to stop myself from buying everything I saw and told myself to head to the register to check out on my way there I noticed the bakery that they had at in the front area caught my eye so I decided to take a look. They had a whole assortment of breads, pastries, cookies and small desserts which was so hard to choose from but the lady at the register was so kind enough to give me a few suggestions. I ended up getting some sweet garlic bread sticks, a corn scone, and banana shaped cake. All were so good! Overall I'm so glad that I found this place and will definitely come back again for more goodies and grab different things from their eatery and bakery..

It could be a challenge to find parking during peak hours and weekends. There's a small food court inside with some tables and chairs where you can order food. This grocery is small compared to other Asian /Korean grocery stores. But it has baked goods, cosmetics, household items, read to eat /food to go. There are items they don't carry like pumpkin juice , produce items, etc. It's ok but not great.

A few days ago, I bought some fruit and produce. It rang up higher than I expected, but I looked at the price per pound and it was correct for every item. When I went home and weighed the oranges, the weight was off by 0.8 lb. I didn't weigh the other items, but I think the 3rd cash register from the door has an incorrectly calibrated scale. Probably not worth going back to complain. Receipt showed that they tared the scale, so not sure how it's off. The store is clean and the produce good quality. And a good place to get Asian foods. Prices for some produce is cheaper than Ranch 99.

This Korean supermarket has long been in this location at least 2 decades, right next to Korean BBQ Palace, which unfortunately didn't survive COVID lockdown period. They got everything fresh produce, general Asian groceries, but the best is its fresh meats & seafood located at the back of the store. My past experience told me prices are better at other Asian supermarkets, however, things have changed apparently. Nowadays, things appear to have gone 180°, other Asian supermarkets are way more expensive than Hankook! For example, tofu is a staple across many Asian cultures, Hankook has the best prices for similar sizes; other Asian supermarkets like Ranch 99, no tofu is less than $1.69, Hankook's got several at $1.29, stir fry veggies several are $0.99/lb.I actually come here more often than Ranch 99 or Marina Markets now

Hankook has wide selection of korean and asian food and household items. They also have small stores inside that offer a range of services and products, adding to the convenience and charm of the supermarket.Hankook is a gem for anyone looking to explore Korean cuisine and culture. Highly recommended

This is a really good Korean market! The people are friendly, the market is huge and has a lot of offering. Sales are always there which is great for people who are fiscally responsible.

The supermarket is big. One can find almost all kinds of meat and produce, even the hard to find Oriental kind. There is sushi, and many varieties of ready made pickled veggies. The store is very clean. It is hard to find parking on weekends.

It is the cleanest, neatest, odorless and largest Asian market I have ever seen. It has a lot of customers. I liked it very much too. Bakery section is my favourite.

A lot more mom and pop than the widely famous H mart. They have a huge selection of banchon and I love picking up a couple so as to not think about side dishes during the week.

My favorite Korean grocery store in NorCal. They have all the groceries and new, trendy items. Large floor plan and very clean. Staff is friendly too. Parking lot isn’t that big but you’ll always find a spot.

I love this place. They have everything you need for cooking a special Korean dish. Today I was craving Gamja-tang, so I searched on YouTube for a Gamja-tang recipe. The YouTuber said only a few Korean grocery stores sell hulled and finely grounded Perilla seeds powder. Guess what? I found 3 different kinds of Perilla Seeds powder. It was so easy for me to find all the ingredients here: pork neck bones/pork spines ?, Perilla leaves, Perilla seeds powder, Korean hot pepper flakes, giant red ?️, Korean hot pepper paste, doenjang/soybean paste, dried shiitake mushrooms ?, packed soybean sprouts, good-looking potatoes ?. Because I got all the ingredients, my homemade gamja-tang tastes so good. ? Help yourself ? Try it!

The food court here is low key one of the best spots for quick homestyle Korean food. I've been eating here since I was a kid whenever my mom came to buy groceries and the taste hasn't changed even 15 years later.
