Our accountant that took care of everything for 20 years retired and I went to this guy based on a referral of someone who gets money from him. We emailed him all the tax documents a month before April 15 except for a piece of paper that we gave him several days later. My wife emailed and called him 4 times to make sure everything was good and if he had any questions and he responded by saying everything was fine. We called him April 14 and he said he could not open the emails andHe was not able to finish the work and we had to get an extension. And he wanted more money. My wife also called him and he didn't even respond. At 8:38pm April 14 he emailed us to say he would be dropping us and couldn't do the job. He's very unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and we were very disappinted. Don't waste your time with this guy. He will be reported to the proper authorities in Sacramento. The following day, we went to a nice lady that did everything in a couple of hours while we were in her office.and her fees were much lower.

We were referred to Mr. Moe by our CPA who retired after 23 years of doing our taxes. I sent everything to Mr. Moe on 03/24 who stated he had received everything. I emailed him on several occasions. On 04/13 he said he could not open the files because of malicious virus. though I sent him everything from my Gmail account which I have used for so many years and the same account I used to send everything to our other CPA BTW. I dropped e erything at his office on 04/13. He kept telling me we need to get an extension since the files were submitted late. On 04/14 at 8:39 pm he emailed me and said he terminated us. Thank God being a book keeper I knew several CPA's who would do our taxes which is not complicated at all and we did our taxes on 04/15.

We emailed him & called him 4 times to make sure everything was good & asked him if he has any questions & he responded by saying he got all the documents & everything was fine. I called him April 14 to see how things were going & he said he couldn't open our emails & he's not able to finish the forms & we have to get an extension & pay him more money. My wife also called him & he didn't respond. At 8:38pm April 14 he sent an email that he would be dropping us & can't do the job. He's very unprofessional, rude, disrespectful & we were very disappointed in him. Don't waste your time with this guy. He will be reported to the proper authorities in the state capital. We went to a nice lady the following day & she did everything while we were in her office in a couple of hours & her fees were much lower.

I reached out to Moe via a referral from a friend and words cant describe how grateful I am for the recommendation. I had a great experience with MSA Accounting. Usually I do my own taxes with TurboTax. This year changed and I had to pay State for the first time, which complicated the system for me, causing me to file an extension. After reviewing and understanding my tax situation, Moe made suggestions and offered to look at my previous years to be sure I didn't fall short. He gave me insight on how my situation could improve for 2019 and information to update my withholdings so I wouldn't over/under pay. We were able to electronic file my taxes the same day and I could breathe a sigh of relief. Moe was professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and I was able to get an appointment right away.

I went to Moe at MSA because he was my mother's tax CPA. Since my mother passed away in 2018 I figured he was the obvious person to hire to do her estate and final personal tax returns. After two appointments with Moe where I was trying to figure out the ins and outs of her estate and personal returns I decided Moe was not the CPA for me. Moe is a kind and quiet guy, but was a little too short on educating me. I ended up going to another CPA who had immediate answers to my questions. She calmed my nerves. Moe did not.

I highly recommend seeing Moe at MSA Accounting. Extremely knowledgeable after 20+ years in the business. I needed help with my taxes and he professionally and kindly handled everything and answered all of my many questions. His office is centrally located in the SouthBay and he has a great office manager/receptionist Maggie who was also very kind and helpful and got back to me quickly with any additional information I needed.
