3 words Liars, cheaters and dishonest people running the show. Went in to get my window fixed and oil change. They did a diagnostic and made me get $1500+ worth of service. In the end they said window part was not available and said they will order. After service I realized they didn't even change the wiper blades even though they charged. I have my doubts about rest of their service even though they tried to convince me. Later they didn't even order the parts and asked me to do it myself. Think about it I went in to get my window fixed and in the end my window is still not fixed. Thank you Mr. Anthony you are a real sales guy because of which all sales person have a bad reputation!

Just don't come here. Ever. I remember when Pep Boys also sold car parts. Now they only do tires, and they can't even get that right. How these guys stay in business is truly beyond me. TL;DR 1- They lost my tire that was sent to them directly from ebay (and tried to get ME to track it down) 2- They replaced the wrong tire I requested and when I called it out, they said they "had to" because the tread on the other tire was too low. Additional details if you're bored There was a deal for free installation via CarAdvise if purchasing a tire from Ebay. I sent it directly to Pepboys and all I had to do was schedule the installation. My fault that I missed an appointment and procrastinated rescheduling for about a week or two. When I finally called to schedule, they said they didn't have the tire. I told them I had the Fedex tracking number and it said it was delivered. They still asked me to call CarAdvise. I decided to humor them and just do it to tick it off my checklist but CarAdvise basically told me what I was thinking anyway...it was an issue with the store, not CarAdvise. So drag my as to the store. After searching the store again, they AGAIN tried to get me to call Ebay or CarAdvise. I told them that Fedex tracking stated that it was delivered and it was signed for by someone at the store. There was even someone there by a similar name who said "i don't remember taking delivery of it". WELL THEN I GUESS THAT'S THE END OF IT, EH? I understand that mistakes can be made, things can be misplaced. But this lack of accountability and trying to get ME to continue running around on a wild good chase really pissed me off. They even tried to get me to BUY a tire and have me figure out where the missing tire went later to get it refunded. Credit to them when I called them out they finally acquiesced and gave me another tire. And so I wait. For an hour +. I go back to check on the car and see the tire i wanted removed still on the car. I am confused. I check the other side...I see the new tire. I tell them it's the wrong tire. They tell me they noticed low tread on the other tire and they "had to" replace it. No fam, you need to do what the customer requests you to do. And they're confused as hell when I tell them that's not how I wanted it, and they made it seem like I was crazy. I had wanted it done that specific way for a reason. All they had to do was follow my explicit instructions and somehow they couldn't even do that. So of course they bring it back into the shop and spend upwards of 45 minutes performing a job that any mexican tire shop in dtsj would've done in 10. Resulting in an entirely wasted afternoon Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this clown operation of a business. And if you value your sanity and time, you shouldn't, either.

I had problem with my car’s front tire. They replaced it and the very next day I had problems with coolant. I filled coolant 3 months back and all sudden after giving my car to pepboys , it showed up. I called them and they asked me to come for fixing the coolant issue. When I went there, they took 3hr for inspection and still that guy was not sure where is the leak and charged 40dollar for inspection. If you want to do any kind of service then please avoid such places.

Customer service is horrible. I scheduled an appointment for 4 o'clock, arrived on time and was told they don't have time they're full I suggested to maybe call or to maybe fix the calendar and the dude was just plain rude.

Avoid this place. They charge $280 JUST IN LABOR for an hours work to replace a serpentine belt and a tensioner. Their parts (2 of them) are also $280 bucks. All their competitors in a 1/2 mile radius say thats roughly double the price. They took advantage of my girlfriend who doesn't know much about cars, and refused to lower the price after I caught them adding "shop fees" which is an extra charge to USE THEIR SHOP. and an "extended limited labor warranty" that they throw on every bill hoping customers dont see it. No professionalism, no compassion, and definitely no experience.

Ruzell is the best! He answered all of my questions and explained mechanical issues to me in a kind manner without being condescending (sometimes an issue when I go into auto shops/ hardware stores as a woman). He was also very communicative - called me during the service with results about an issue I was concerned with to check in to see how I wanted to handle it and whether I wanted to add it to my original service request or wait on it. Much appreciated!! Thanks, man!

This review is solely on Monique's service. She was attentive and thorough when we checked in with her this morning. I had the incorrect closing time and showed up 40 minutes after they closed to pick up the car. Most places would've turned us away and we would've had to come back to pick up the car. Monique graciously stayed and checked us out and got us on our way. 10/10 service; we'll definitely be back because of her stellar customer service

Never go here..their appointment system is horrific and the human service is even worse. Bit of a poster child for why these old style brick and mortar services are all going out of business. You make an appointment and you get inundated by unwanted text messages and emails but (wait for it) they don't actually have your appointment on file?! And then they bait and switch you with pricing that is nowhere on the website. Don't go here and better still short sell Pep Boys if you can.

they did an inspection on my car and said it was fine even though I later found out that the back two tires were low on tread and needed to be replaced so it wasn't safe... And they were rude too. Negative one trillion stars.

I really want to send a shout out to Rafael and Anthony of the Pep Boys at Sunnyvale. I had taken in my sister's 2015 Honda Civic for a new battery. I had made an appointment but the online portal requires you to confirm the appointment in the email which I did not see. So when I got there they were not going to be able to work on the car while I waited. ' Since I did not need the car right away, I left it with the shop. I received later additional detailed info regarding the need for new serpentine belt and tires soon. Not the news I wanted to hear but good to know. I got the needed new battery, belt and new wiper blades. When I returned at the later time for tires, they did not try to upsell me and took into consideration how little the car was driven and what type of driver. The team was really friendly, kind and informative . I got the 3 year alignment on the car and knowing I can go to any pep boys for alignment and tire rotation brought me much comfort.

I made an appointment online the day prior. They had the tires that I needed for my car. We go on a Sunday. Not too busy. We check in. We were told it would be 2-3 hours. Went for walk and even had lunch. Our car was still in the parking lot. Our appt was at 12pm. When we headed back it was a little after 2pm. George tells me. They only had 2 tires and they can call another store to pickup. I wait another 20 minutes for him to call and confirm. It's already 3 pm, my car hasn't been worked on. I told him, forget it. We have to be somewhere. All I say, this place is badly managed. The 2 stars in for George. He was nice. But I feel like he was nice to me because I was polite.
