During my first talk with the agent, she already learned the fact that I only had 2 credit lines and told me my rent history could count as a 3rd credit line. Therefore, I was shocked when she was not able to provide a pre-approval letter. This has almost cost me to fail the timeline for home buying. Such incidents happened before for the same agent when her customers had to seek other lending options in a tight timeframe, as shared by my colleagues. The agent was rude and ignorant during the whole process and shows zero respect to potential customers.

Have zero security in any approval/pre-approval/fully underwritten pre-approval from Wells Fargo. Terrible mortgage experience Wells Fargo pre-approved us then issued a conditional approval so we were good to go for closing then pulled out last minute approximately 2 business days before closing for an issue not mentioned on the conditional pre-approval and completely non-financial reason. Wells Fargo provided no way for us to respond to their last minute objections and simply denied the loan leaving us high and dry risking our deposit in escrow. Never have had such a terrible experience. Tom Forker & Eva Black were our WF focal points. Update 12/31/20: Wells Fargo Corporate office called to inform that they have denied my request for an appraisal refund & also received a letter from Zoila Sarmiento stating the same. Stay away from Wells Fargo if you value your time and money.

Steve was amazing to work with! After an initial conversation early in our property hunt process, we texted him on a Sunday evening when we had almost finalized the property, and Steve was quick to respond and get on a (long) phone call to help us fully understand the process and the next steps. As the loan process started, Steve tried hard to get us the best possible rates, one eg: he checked and locked / unlocked rates over multiple days to lock-in the best possible rates t

I used Steve on my first home purchase. It was a simple purchase and thought he was a capable lender. In my next purchase, my rental property, I asked him if he would be able to complete the loan in time. He was very confident in his ability to get it done in time. Long story short, delay after delay, I was informed that he could not approve the loan. This was way past the date stated for the close and the seller, being contingent on another property, was in a real fix payin

We've worked with Kevin Kettmann on our first home and are now working with him on our second on a short-notice move; he's incredibly responsive and makes transactions seamless. His responsiveness is especially appreciated in situations where quick bids can mean the getting your dream home, as it did for us. He offered us the best rate by a good margin and even helped us correct an issue to get a lower rate. Highly recommend--he will help you get a deal done with his uber-responsiveness and offer (and help to achieve) great terms.

Among many loan agents we worked with, Steve is the most professional one. His team is responsive and super quick! They analyzed our case (our case is a bit complicated) and suggested us the most efficient way to prepare related documents and get the load. Everytime we ask a question Steve can always replies immediately (unlike some other agents may need 1 or 2 days to get back to us) We really like him so heartily recommend the people who wanna get the mortgage give it a try with Steve!

Never works with this Branch gave me lot of false information about the mortagage rates. Garry Basi is one of the worst Home Mortgage Consultant who doesn't have any knowledge of the existing offers going on. He always asks customer to come to the branch even for simple things totally unprofessional. I am glad that i went to awesome credit union for Home loan.

I will rate Wali and his team 4.99/5 and like calling him 'the Wizard of Mortgage Lending'. They are as close to perfection as possible and it is a miracle how he keeps such a low profile despite his abundant experience, expertise, and knowledge. Before you speak to any other lender I would strongly recommend discussing your case with him and I am sure you will not regret. Our Case : Fewer than two years of credit history and employment history in the USA, only two Credit lines with hardly 1.3 years on each of them with a good credit score, working on L2 Visa with EAD. We were denied by 23 lenders. Big Banks such as BoFA and Wells Fargo out rightly refused to touch our file, and only three mortgage brokers offered to do Freddie/Fannie with HELOC, a variable rate plan with high rate of Interest. Just 21 hours shy of bidding, we were introduced to Wali and Team by our magical Real Estate Agent. With 3 credit pulls and already denied by another Wells Fargo branch, any further discussion with Wells Fargo seemed futile especially after knowing the number of people they have left stranded at the Altar. We were mortified at the thought of engaging with them but thankfully gave into our intuition. Wali, while working at an open house, reviewed our documents (Proof of funds, Visa etc) on a late Saturday evening, and came with the exact purchase power that he could provide. Thankfully that was within the ballpark purchase price of the house we were looking to bid on. By the next morning we had a strong pre-approval letter from Mr. Wali. We got into contract on Monday evening and Wali immediately called to explain to us the whole process of loan approval. He provided the various options of rate of interest he can offer (I have not seen anyone being so open and honest about providing all possible options) and connected me to his star studded team of Naaz (Mortgage Associate) and Manisha (The Loan Officer). We were still apprehensive and kept our other three lenders on standby. We just wanted to get a dis-approval at the earliest so that we could still honor our closing date by working with other lenders. Wali & Naaz started working on our file on Tuesday morning, providing us a precise list of documents needed. Naaz meticulously followed up on all the documents (And Yes they will ask much more than you can ever provide but be patient as they are just working to build a strong case especially in cases that border on rejection like ours and require strong documentations and justifications). After a week of documentation (Make sure your turnaround time of providing documents is short as that helps you match the rapid pace at which this team works, the slower you are the later you will close on your loan) and number crunching Naaz forwarded the file to our loan officer Miss Manisha. Manisha is a thorough professional who has been doing this work, especially complicated cases, for years and has been precise and yet so genial in her communication. She has a calm, and positive demeanor, which gives her clients a confidence that she would get the job done. Wali, Manisha, and Naaz ensured that the file should not have any open questions at the underwriters table providing the exact list of exceptions and further supporting documents that were needed in our case. Within two weeks of going into contract our file was sent to the underwriter. As a first time home buyer and after knowing our case, we were really apprehensive that this would not materialize, however when we called Wali, he seemed unfazed and confident as ever. He always seemed to be aware of his steps. At the underwriters table the file seemed to breeze through with an acknowledgment of the exceptions required, thanks to the stupendous and painstaking effort of this terrific trio. We got acongratulatory call from Wali and Team that the file is done within 12 business days and that they are all set to close 10 days before the closing date. Yaaayyyyy! What was even more thrilling was the joy and excitement with which he broke the news. It is diffic
