Came here for Western Union service. Before driving I called in advance and asked if they are able to give the amount that I was supposed to receive. The lady with the Indian accent asked my name first saying that the conversation is recorded, no problem with that, she said that doesn't know if she can give any amount until she can check two ID's, and SSN, address etc. I said sure all are good, I have ID with an address 2 miles away from the location, passport, SSN. But I insisted twice that if she can tell that it's having the amount that I was supposed to receive before driving to their location (according with WU website advise you to do that). She said if I have everything yes they have the amount. So 15 minutes later, myself and my husband showed up there, the door was closed, I see them inside, two ladies, the door it's getting unlocked from inside we are let in, and I start again ...I just called you 15 minutes ago....bla, bla, ...and guess what, the other lady is telling us that they don't have that much money to give! So I said but I called you to check that as WU advise on the website and I said the exact amount I am receiving! Her answer was, but we can not confirm the amount because the phone conversation is recorded . Go figure! I assume if you get a bigger amount of cash using WU the only thing you can do is to drive around from location to location, enter, ask, leave ....until you give up! Don't know if it's WU rules, the location rules? We left receiving a "have a nice day". Were they angry that I insisted asking if they have and are able to give the amount that I was supposed to receive? I have no idea! But definitely puzzled by the service offered after giving a phone call to make sure we don't drive for no reason. Actually they called me back after my 2 calls went to voice mail. Nice gesture! But the outcome was disappointing!
