We ordered three appetizers and three main courses. All of them were awful, except for the one that was supposed to be a Frito pie. That one was good except they served it cold when it should’ve been served hot. I will say our waitress was delightful, and very helpful. But the food is awful in my opinion.

You walk into this cozy pub and meet a smart and friendly golden retriever and a happy dancin’ baby! You’d have to be dead not to fall in love. The Noodles were on the Sunday stage, Dan doing a soulful interp of Dock of the Bay and they did a passable Hey Joe without a guitarist. Color me glad. Our artichoke ricotta salad and chips was crazy delicious and my pint of Das Brau amber was just what I wanted. Bosco’s could be the center of the entire universe.

My husband and I lived in Sunol for 10 years. Bosco's Bones and Brew, its original name was an absolutely perfect in every way. My husband and a dear friends would play music there and in return we would get a free dinner at a time of our choosing. It was a delight from the bar and friendly bartender, to the hostess, the waiter, and the food never failed to be fantastic. I was always so excited, my teachers salary would not have afforded us such greatness.

I was surprised and happy to see the transformation of this place. It is under the new management- the ones who own The Middle 8 in downtown Pleasanton! Just check the pics! Amazing decor - great food and of course Rick and Savren are super amazing! They have band on St Patrick's day. They will open up restaurant side and they have a place upstairs with its own bar for private parties. I love the pool table spot! I tried the gamba dish with shrimp - the flavors are yum !!!!

We came here after hiking nearby in Sunol. Reasonable prices, the food was decent, and portions were huge! The style of the restaurant is pretty cool! It gives a classic feel to it, retro style seats, etc. It was also very relaxing vibe in the restaurant that day, there was no rush pay quickly, and everyone in the restaurant was mostly talking and enjoying their meal.

Great bar. Just moved to Sunol and have been waiting to try this spot out. 10/10 can’t wait to see what they open up in 2024!

Open under new ownership. Nice bar area with tables. Very small food menu but was tasty. Great drinks and great service. Had 9 of us before going on the Niles Christmas Train. Looking forward to them eventually opening the restaurant area.

New ownership, they are open!! Dog friendly good service and small town feel. Even though they have limited food options, you can't go wrong. I'm no hot dog guy, but I would definitely recommend it. Excited for the next visit and there official open in January.

CLOSED FOR OCTOBER! SUPRISE!

You ruined a birthday weekend for my wife, my daughter, and her husband. We planned to eat lunch here today (10/21/23) and then go wine tasting. My daughter paid $75 for the tasting. We had our entire day planned around having lunch here. After dealing with traffic getting there (there must have been an accident on 680) we walk up and it's closed. The "OPEN" sign was lit but it was locked up. Being hungry and with no place to go, we left and drove to downtown Pleasanton to get lunch. Because we had to do this, we missed our wine-tasting reservation. There were several other groups of people that walked up while we were there trying to figure out what to do and were disappointed it was closed even though YELP here also said you were open. You lost a lot of business today. We will never be back. Now we have to see if we can get a refund from the winery, use it another day, or lose $75.00. Whoever owns this place is a flake.

Their website states open at 0800 Sunday. They were still closed at 1000 am. That is a deal-breaker.

For the 2nd time in last couple of months (including today 8.25.23 @ 10:30am when Yelp & Google entries indicate Bosco's is open), I made plans to meet a friend in Sunol. Alas when I arrived, the restaurant was closed with NO sign on front door or any other information. In spite of good reviews, I marked only 1 star because of inconvenience to those wanting to patronize. I urge Bosco's to update their information online and hope to visit at some point in the future. I just called the business & learned they will be open on Fri/Sat eves and hope in Sept. to fully re-open. "Change in management team". Urged person who answered the phone to update info on front door & on website, etc. Best of luck

This place was different from places I usually go to. But very quaint, folks were nice. If you are in the area and love music, bring your singing voice or an instrument and sit in with other musicians. It's a vibe. Full bar, and they have food options. Didn't stay long enough to have food, but we did drink.
