If I could give zero stars, I would. Their customer service skills suck. They are rude to customers and act like doing their job is an inconvience to them. They would rather stand around talking to each other than to work either stocking shelves or helping customers.
Won't ever be going back to that dollar general.

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never be shopping at the dollar general in sutter again. I traveled 25 minutes to this location (with my 3month old..my 1 1/2 year old and my 9 year old mind you) because it stated online it had some thing in stock that I needed. I arrived and grabbed a cart(While in the store I held my 3 month old in my arms and my 9 year old pushed my 1 1/2 year old in the cart) I searched and unfortunately did not find what I needed so we began to leave. As I was placing my 3 children in their carseats I noticed the cashier was standing in the doorway yelling something to me. He kept yelling at me if I had paid for the items that I took in which I responded that I didn’t have anything and he said well I saw you had a cart so where are the items you took and I said what items do you mean, my daughter in my arms? He yelled something else and then turned around and
Went back to the register, mind you there was several other customers inside of the store! I have never been so embarrassed. I did not get the cashiers name because I did not get near the register since I didn’t have any items in my hands, but he a young man with poofy black hair. Management needs to do some serious retraining since they’re employee saw a mom of three and immediately thought she was a thief

i went in a few days ago to use the bathroom and it was emergent. the employee by the name of “taylor” just kept talking and talking to the employee at the register completely ignoring all the customers myself included. i tried to say something to get her attention and all i received in return was a dirty look and got ignored. she was talking about dirty inappropriate stuff that should be kept in the bedroom. not a public work space where sometimes children are present. she needs to be fired or at least suspended or written up because that kind of behavior is just not okay.

It was hot the ac was out. so needless to say the poor staff and customers who had to wait in line to ck out we're sweating hot and moody from heat. I felt sorry for girl working register, she was new and she was so hot and sick from the heat. The temp got up to 112 that day and the DG ac had been out all week. They employees deserve a raise for putting up with not only the heat but the attitudes from the heat.

I personally will not shop at Dollar General in Sutter, CA do to the political situation that brought it to our town. Three stars would be a neutral review. I have never been in the store. I have no problem with my family shopping there, I personally will not shop there in the foreseeable future.
