Very bad service the staff can only help you by taking your money and selling you a policy other then that they tell you to call a department and they’ll help you but good luck in speaking with anyone on the phone. I started a claim in January, they gave me a response in mid February and told me they were sending the lean holder of my vehicle a check. It’s now almost mid March and the lean holder keeps telling they haven’t had any communication with anyone from Fred Loya much less received a check. Now I’m stuck making payments on a vehicle I don’t have or drive. Because their claims department refuses to answer a phone call and speak with their customers. But come the last week of the month they start sending payment reminders, the first of the month they call you to take your payment. That they’re excellent at. Completely makes me regret on choosing them to do any business with.

Absolutely terrible service. Every single time I call or go in person someone tells me something different. I even called 30 mins apart and they gave me different information both times, they can’t seem get their information straight. It’s obvious they are poorly trained and have terrible customer service. Have to pay a large sum of money out of pocket for insurance because of someone giving me the wrong date and all I get was a “I’m sorry about that”. They refused to look back at the previous call logs because it would prove their fault. I constantly feel like I’m made to be a burden whenever I pay as sometimes they accept cards and sometimes they just don’t. Sometimes they require a picture of my car and sometimes they don’t. They are never giving accurate information and just seem to never actually know what they’re talking about. Especially manager and employee Stephanie, both of which provide abysmal customer service and misinformation. With a matter such as this I expect a higher margin of professionalism and general know how.

I've been with Fred Loya for a few years now. But as of lately I am very dissatisfied with this company. My husband had an accident in January. I have been trying to get ahold of the adjuster, have called her numerous times and not once have I spoken to her. I got a hold of her manager and supervisor and also called numerous times and left numerous messages and no reply from anyone. I'm still paying for a vehicle we no longer have because gap insurance is giving us a hard time. The numerous calls/messages left from my lender to Fred Loya have not been returned. This company has been terrible. I can't wait untill my policy is over to get rid of them.

This location has unethical shady female staff, always with a hidden agenda to squeeze more premium$ out of policyholders. They will add unrequested coverages to your policy without your consent and later say that it's mandatory to have it and you must pay for it. You never get a straight answer when you inquire, hoping you just give up and accept what they are saying at face value. It's always better to call Fred Loya corporate directly for help. Thank God for the "California Department of Insurance" insurance.ca.gov consumer compliant center...

Nasty person on the phone. Hang up on me saying can give me a quote but can't run my record. So I ask how she can insure me then without running my record? She hang up. Very unprofessional place. Stay away in all cost.
