We stopped in to see if they could fix a punctured tire that we had had to replace on our travel trailer only 2 days into a long-awaited road trip. We were still a bit stressed from having had the flat out in the middle of nowhere. The team greeted us in a very friendly and reassuring manner. They fixed the tire right away even though they were super busy and got us back on our way. What a service! Highly recommend. If we lived here we‘d give them all of our business.

Amazing work! These guys really know their business and they have absolutely wonderful customer service. Came in with a 1997 class a rv that had a flat. Matt got someone working on it right away, didn’t even have me take the tow dolly off. They just put a jack under it and took off the tire. Then found that the issue was my valve stems, and the tire was fine which was a relief. Took off the leaking stems and had me on my way in no time. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of and that I was going to be safe and sound. Totally recommend them for all your tire needs, they were wonderful to work with and I’m looking forward to returning to them the next time I need anything tire related!!

3 1/2 hours for an oil change when I am the only one there they completely airlocked the truck up after changing the filter Tried starting the truck for almost 35 to 40 minutes with it not primed do not trust your vehicle with these guys

Had my vehicle serviced after unexpected issues while camping at Carizzo Plains.The team was excellent! I was very comfortable that they would do great work! First impressions are most lasting!I'd even consider scheduling maintenance there to sync with travels from the SF Bay area!Thanks!

Great service, nice people and the coolest cat ever. Went in here for a set of new tires. The price was reasonable and the service was great. While waiting, their cat spent the whole time in my lap.

They advertise used tires. So I go into the business and someone at the front counter by the name of "John" is talking on his cell phone. I'm standing there for a minute as he's talking on his cell phone and I asked yeah I need to get a used tire. He quickly looks up and says we dont sell used tires turns around and walks off... I sit for a minute baffled I'm standing by myself in the lobby... so after minute I walk out go in my car and call the same shop eventually John answered the phone and I asked yeah how much are your guys used tires and he says yeah no problem what size.. I just hung up the phone.. I will never go to any Smith & Son Tire again this business was completely unprofessional and obviously does not want business.. and maybe John should keep his personal calls off the clock and get some more training.. guess I will go to Bakersfield to get a tire so much for keeping the business local in Taft.
