“You've GOT to stop here if visiting Tahoe City! Jake's on the Lake is superb! Enjoy the world's BEST crab cakes amongst other delights but we couldn't stop saying OMG OMG about the crab cakes. Top it off with one large slice of ice cream cake that two of us could not finish between us but yummmm sooooo good. Then mosey over to Tahoe City Chocolates and enjoy some free samples of their latest treats while choosing something to take home for consolation gifts to our husbands who did not get to join us on this trip for just us gal pals.”

“Great little niknak stores. Cobblestone Jewelry has some nice local artist stuff worth checking out. Geared Games has toys for kids. Although I did not visit them, there is a yoga studio, a nail salon, a chiropractor, and more. Uncorked Wine Bar is great for small plates and wine tastings. Our favorite was the Duck Rillettes on sourdough with fig jam and the Crab Cakes. Have lunch at the Tahoe Tap House, then see a movie!”
