Nice place to stay, but they will not support you in any meaningful way should you leave anything of value behind. Money in hand = Thanks see ya!After leaving a valuable pair of headphones behind (~$250) I called and staff were able to locate it, and I shared the return address, requesting that a receipt with a tracking number be shared. For a $15 fee they agreed. After a month, I hadn't received the item. After calling numerous times over the course of 3 weeks to request a callback/email with so I could get the tracking number, I was finally able to connect with a manager (claiming, of course, they'd been meaning to return one of my many calls). Lost receipt... no tracking number... claimed to have sent, but to a completely different address than provided (probably not listening on the phone)... I honestly can't tell if someone just took them home at this point because it doesn't really add up.Major ball drop. My only recourse is to hope they refund the $15 charged for shipping, give a not-one-but-two star review (it is a nice place) and take note in the future.

Unit 33: Love the location (Tahoe City), and the amenities (pool, tennis courts, lawn areas and beach), but selection of the right unit is critical. Units are individually owned, and thus the quality of the interiors vary widely. We have been staying at Tahoe Marina Lakefront (previously known as "Lodge") for over two decades, and most units have been updated significantly. This year we stayed in Unit 33, and were extremely disappointed. With the exception of the kitchen appliances, almost nothing has been updated: outdated and inexpensive shower stalls and fixtures, popcorn ceilings, cheap BBQ, patio furniture that was broken and/or plastic, screen doors that come off the rails, no working cable TV for the first 2 days, poor selection of kitchen pots/pans, etc. Would definitely not stay again in this unit, even if it was the only one available.

Booked a unit through AirBnB and was unable to travel due to atmospheric river storms Jan 2023, which caused white-out blizzard conditions and shut down I-80, making it impossible to reach the property. Despite this, both Kindra and Celeste in property management and the unnamed property owner refused to issue even a partial refund. Even if I had decided to risk the life of my family to travel there, it would have impossible to get there with the road closures. Still no refund. Unbelievable. If you have any issue with this property, don't expect to get any help once they have taken your money.

Do not stay in unit #35. Barely above adequate. Both pull out couches broken, dishes in cabinet filthy as dishwasher barely cleaned, no supplies in kitchen. No dish soap, one old dirty sponge, no salt or pepper even. No extra blankets. Screen doors broken. Oven dirty and smoked if you used it. DVD player broken. I could go on and on. Shame on TML management for letting owners rent inadequate units. There needs to be consistent qualifications. We have rented quite a few of the units over the years but I do not think we will be back. This was the worst. They have also blocked everything off so you can't even get to their beach area. People not staying at the lodge we're constantly hopping fences. It is sad that this property is not under better management. I guess they continue to operate only because of their claim to a great location.

By far worst management ever. Have been coming here since I was little . Put in a request in person at the location for a lakefront view. Received an email to call and they have no lakefront view what is the point of physically filling out the damn slip ????? Last year for a request for o be told what we wanted was not available?? Ridiculous!!!!!!!

Literally the worst experience at a hotel in my life. They have opened the hot tub, claim to accept to dogs, and claim to have a doggy day care. My gf and I went down to the hot tub after with our dog, upon which we were told the dog is not allowed in the pool or in the room! But they claimed to have a day care for dogs which I asked to see because nothing about it looked secure for a dog. They wouldn't let me see and then fearing repercussions they then kicked us out, claiming to enforce the rules, after they disregarded their own sign which says "no bottles allowed", the previous and the party after had bottles and a dog. Literally there's a hundred other places to stay in tahoe. Just go there
